ood morning, FRiends.   I have often wished I had a *generic* table to post on days when I'm short of time,   or low on creativity, and can't think of a theme or can't find the right graphics when I *have* a theme.   So, here it is - I made one - and you will probably see it again 'cause it just says WELCOME!

I'm calling it my "Ain't Got No Theme" (sorta)  or  "Ain't Got No Graphics" (sorta) table.  When you see it, you will know it's one or the other - or BOTH!   Do hope you'll stop in, have a cup of coffee, share your thoughts, pick a theme, post a picture, offer a suggestion for a future theme, offer to WRITE a future thread, or just wave as you drive by. :)

Can cold water clean dishes? This is for all the germ conscious folks that worry about using cold water to clean.

John went to visit his 90 year old grandfather in a very secluded, rural area of Georgia. After spending a great evening chatting the night away, John's grandfather prepared breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast. However, John noticed a film-like substance on his plate, and questioned his grandfather, asking, "Are these plates clean?"

His grandfather replied, "They're as clean as cold water can get them. Just you go ahead and finish your meal, Sonny!"

For lunch the old man made hamburgers. Again, John was concerned about the plates as his appeared to have tiny specks around the edge that looked like dried egg and asked, "Are you sure these plates are clean?"

Without looking up the old man said, "I told you before, Sonny, those dishes are as clean as cold water can get them. Now don't you fret, I don't want to hear another word about it!"

Later that afternoon, John was on his way to a nearby town and as he was leaving, his grandfather's dog started to growl, and wouldn't let him pass. John yelled and said, "Grandfather, your dog won't let me get to my car".

Without diverting his attention from the football game he was watching on TV, the old man shouted ..."COLDWATER, GO LAY DOWN!!!!"

That's very strange. Little red x's on the thread for several of us - until I copied and pasted the url in browser, then it showed on the thread for me because it's in my cache. Agree with LadyX - the Whole World Wide Web is a mystery! Nothing short of amazing that we can see all these places all over the world with just a click of a button anyway!

Playoffs just started. White Sox and Red Sox are playing now and Yankees and Angels tonight. White Sox leading in the third inning 5-0.

Gonna have Christian for the next few days. Mom and Dad leave for England and Scotland this evening.

When I had Hit the Two Links, they had Said "Page not Found." So then I Tried to Copy and Paste them as an Experiment, intending to View them on "Preview," but All I Got was the Dreaded Red X. I don't Know why I couldn't Copy and Paste them, but I Ended Up Putting the Pics you Sent me into "My Documents," and Attached them to an Email to myself, and that Worked, so I can Email them. Thank you for Everything you did, Kind FRiend! I Appreciate it So Much! : )
