Bomb Blast at University of Oklahoma (Breaking on Fox) - suicide bomber at OU

NORMAN -- An explosion near the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord Family-Memorial Stadium killed one person Saturday, OU officials said.

The explosion happened at the courtyard near the George Lynn Cross Hall, Botany-Microbiology Building on OU's campus, which is west of the stadium, according to Sgt. Gary Robinson of the University police department.

The explosion happened during the second quarter of Oklahoma's game against Kansas State.

After the explosion, police set up a perimeter of several blocks and made fans exit the stadium to the east.

indeed, the Oklahoma part of this is troubling. if AQ was going to conduct an operation and had choice of a target, something like the exiting crowd at fenway park would have gotten them alot more visibility.

We have are share of haters here and they were on display last week, but the Ward Churchills and Cindy Sheehans are many things but they are not suicide bombers. I doubt that this country can yet produce its own suicide bombers, they have to be imported. And there is a profile for suicide bombers and that profile is not making it through regular channels. It is only a matter of time until there is a terrorist event in this country and it will be in all likelihood traced through our southern border.
