Bomb Blast at University of Oklahoma (Breaking on Fox) - suicide bomber at OU

NORMAN -- An explosion near the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord Family-Memorial Stadium killed one person Saturday, OU officials said.

The explosion happened at the courtyard near the George Lynn Cross Hall, Botany-Microbiology Building on OU's campus, which is west of the stadium, according to Sgt. Gary Robinson of the University police department.

The explosion happened during the second quarter of Oklahoma's game against Kansas State.

After the explosion, police set up a perimeter of several blocks and made fans exit the stadium to the east.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "University of Oklahoma President David Boren on Tuesday said investigators are saying there is no known threat connected to the Saturday bomb explosion near a packed football stadium, and an FBI press release repeated Boren's opinion.

OU engineering student Joel Henry Hinrichs III died when an explosive near or on him detonated as he sat on a bench outside George Lynn Cross Hall, the botany/microbiology building, on the South Oval. About 100 yards to the east was Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, where more than 84,000 people were watching the OU-Kansas State football game."

ARTICLE SNIPPET #2: "The FBI has not announced details about the bomb, but Channel 5 News reported Tuesday night that Hinrichs' bomb contained acetone peroxide, or TATP. The highly unstable chemical can be made from household items, but it is very sensitive to heat and shock.

Law enforcement found more bomb-making materials Sunday at Hinrichs' residence at the Parkview Apartments, and they were detonated that evening. Earlier last week, Hinrichs tried to buy ammonium nitrate fertilizer from Ellison Feed and Seed in east Norman."

You may want to keep tabs on any forthcoming info from Jayna Davis, an OK journalist who documented the Iraqi/ Al Queda connections to the Murrah Building bombing. She's all over this event too, as some of the same players are involved. In my opinion, she has information that, if Fox were to latch on to it, would change the public perception of the war in Iraq. She deserves the attention of any legitimate news organization.

There are a lot of careers at stake here, in both parties and the media. This is not for the faint of heart.

2nd Violent Suicide On Higher Ed Campus Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at 6:08pm For the second time in less than a week, a violent suicide has occurred on an Oklahoma school campus. A former student shot and killed herself today in front of a startled deputy on the Francis Tuttle Technology Center in Oklahoma City.

Four days after a student killed himself with a bomb on the OU campus, a former student at the Francis Tuttle Technology Center shot and killed herself in front of a sheriff's deputy. Police say the late afternoon shooting today occurred in the school's Information Technology building. A spokesman on the campus at 12777 North Rockwell said the woman pulled out a handgun and shot herself in the head after she was confronted by the Oklahoma County sheriff's deputy. No one else, including the startled deputy was injured in the shooting. Classes at the Information Technology center were cancelled for the night and tomorrow.

FINALLY this morning on the Dallas local Fox affiliate they actually talked about this a bit...mentioning the attempted purchase of the fertilizer at the feed store. A local radio talk show host sometimes does guest spots on the Fox AM show, and he appeared today saying the calls he has been receiving have caught him off-guard after he thought this was a non-story. He still said he is taking them all with a grain of salt, but at least he's listening, and thought enought to mention it on the TV broadcast!

This just stinks more and more every day. Tony Snow said he was going to talk about it this morning but he didn't get to it because of Pres. lying to us again about the peaceful religion of Islam and that there is a small percentage that has hijacked the religion. Phooey! The quiet muslims that I have talked to that proclaim peace do not discuss with me when I ask them why they don't stand up to the radicals. they shush up and turn the other cheek.

Sent Rummy an e-mail yesterday about this. Yes, you can e-mail the Pentagon! I can't tell you how many Able Danger e-mails I sent or how many times I have requested that the Pentagon go after Judge Hellerstein and his liberal ACLU ruling to release Abu Gharaib photos. As usual, no response, and they won't respond to the e-mails about a "mentally deranged" OK student bomber, either.

I work in all aspects of immigration but mainly business. People with lots of money from Germany, Holland, France, UK, etc. who come here with millions to set up businesses here. I also help those gain asylum who are indeed beaten to a pulp by governments (Venezuela, the Colombian FARC, etc.) and there is an extreme amount of proof. My attorney bosses KNOW better than to ask me to handle ANY case where the client has a criminal record. I won't be a part of bringing someone into this country who has a criminal past. We have enough of that here. They also know to not ask me to help find the loopholes to make an illegal legal and when I come across these people, I report them because they have no right being here bottom feeding off this country and our hard work. Remember, unless you are an American Native, we all came from somewhere else. This country thrives on immigrants. However, at the moment, I believe there should be a freeze on immigration. I know that would put me out of a job momentarily but I truly believe that we should just shut down the borders on this country for about 6 months - at least. We should begin building laser or better yet, taser perimeters on our borders that connect Mexico and Canada to us. We need to deport the 30% of our illegal prison population and the government needs to depose all immigration attorneys, find the names of all illegals, round them up, ship thim off. Teh companies that hired them should be put on some sort of congressional probation for violation of immigration laws and the fine should be increased.

The difference between illegals and legals is that illegals drain our society, we cannot track them and they are a damage to the health of this country. Wtih legal immigration at least we can see who is here, who isn't, etc. I know that this will not stop terrorism, however, if we allow more Able Dangers to exist, then perhaps we can get these sleeper cells before they get us because we have a precise system of tracking all individuals who come into this country. Funny thing is that there are laws, or were laws, that required men between a certain age and from certain countries to register within the US, whether legal or illegal. Due to pressure by the ACLU, the National Lawyers Guild and people like Cindy Sheehan (not Cindy, just anti-americans like her), and those opposed to the Patriot Act, that requirement to register if one is from Iraq, Iran, Syrian, Saudi, Pakistan, Egypt, Bangladesh, etc., no longer have to do so.

Our borders and their direct effect on terrorism in this country is a joke. And call it racial profiling but I don't believe anyone from any muslim country should be allowed in this country until we have our own s*^t under control here. Racial profiling - yeah - so what. We either do this or we are going to end up praying to Allah 6 times a day.
