From Staff Reports
NORMAN -- An explosion near the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord Family-Memorial Stadium killed one person Saturday, OU officials said. The explosion happened at the courtyard near the George Lynn Cross Hall, Botany-Microbiology Building on OU's campus, which is west of the stadium, according to Sgt. Gary Robinson of the University police department.
The explosion happened during the second quarter of Oklahoma's game against Kansas State.
After the explosion, police set up a perimeter of several blocks and made fans exit the stadium to the east.

Yes, it was definitely not that long, and I only heard one.

I guess you have to allow for the echo effect between all the stone and brick buildings maybe enhancing it, but it was loud.

Or was he at the wrong place at the wrong time?I'm getting the feeling that he wasn't the jihad type. Which leads me to think that this is a good possibility. Premature detonation, or planned detonation. Perhaps he ticked off the Islamofacists nearby and they "retaliated".
Another possibility is that he was involved with the ecoterrorist movement. His profile indicates he was pretty smart, but he may have fallen for the koolaid of envornazis.

He could have been walking by or sitting on a cement bench that blew up.

"He could be pro-PETA.....There are many reasons fanatics do fanatical things."The other day in our SMALL community at the corner of the interstate and local road was the bare breasted Peta gal and the guy holding signs. Later as I was driving home, on a STOP sign was added the words eating animals.

If this guy planned on killing a bunch of people, he'd have taped nails to the outside of the bomb.
Maybe, maybe not. Maybe he planned on being in a tightly packed crowd and the blast would be enough. Maybe he was worried they would use a metal detector getting inside the stadium and he didn't want to trigger it. Maybe he planned on getting on a bus and using the bus as the shrapnel. All kinds of possibilities

JessieP was the one who put up the post (he's the one who called the frat) and his post got yanked.
Then he put up another post asking the mods why and he was immediately zotted.
I found it strange.

I tried. Found out protein is very addictive. That meat started smelling so good...

Have you read the eye witness reports of PhiKapMom?
This was not some random act of a goofy college student.
