This is a quick post to provide an after action report for the DC Chapter Freep of Code Pink at Walter Reed. It was a night to remember and I did not want to keep everyone waiting. There will be a full report with all pictures later on in the week.
It was a normal but cooler night as everyone arrived for another evening of countering Code Pink. Down the street came the sound of a single motorcycle. The Rolling Thunder scout arrived to announce the news of more bikes to follow. The first scout went accross the street to talk with the Code Pinkos. The police came rolling down the street. We are not sure the exact details of what went on over there but it was not pretty in pink (land). The scout was asked by the police to come back over to our side.
The rest of the Rolling Thunder group arrived and they parked right in front of Code Pink. Gael Murphy had a fit and the police were very nice. They ask the guys from Rolling Thunder to move to our side. The bikers walked back over to their side a few times just to taunt them. When they went over to the otherside we would chant, "Hug A Vet".
Gael had a group meeting at the end and she was mad as a wet hen.
She can call herself stupid for pissing off Rolling Thunder. We did not even have 1% of that group show up. They told me if she is still there in May they are going to bring everyone.
Why wait till May? Give the witch an early Christmas present.
Thanks for trying ....I could go back and look, but I was tired and ran for bed too soon to see it anyway!
I wonder if the readers here can imagine that giant man from Rolling Thunder bellowing..
"OOOOOOOOOHHHH Sweeeeeeeeet Pea"
...in a very high pitched voice....while advancing on the PINKOS with his sign:
IF YOU LOVE FREEDOM
KISS A VET
It was memorable!!!!!
This entire group, plus the national groups (1000's) come to town for their annual Memorial day "ride"...I think that was his intention to add it to that schedule.
Good Morning Bump!
I am glad you got home safely.
Brown shirts? They call us BROWN SHIRTS? **^%%%(#)#&%$ and @*(%&&&@ because if I did, it would be &$#@#^~~+%. I really really hope I don't get banned for that.
Last week was a huge crowd.
This week was a LOUD crowd.
Wish you were here!
Maybe we should look into some cheap airfare, huh? :o)
sure.
bttt
neither of those two links worked for me. it must be my dial-up.
too bad!
"Gael had a group meeting at the end and she was mad as a wet hen."
WooHoo!
I don't think I've downloaded a movie clip before. I've tried a bunch of times to watch them live. I have windows media player. What usually happens is it works for 30 secs or so and then freezes. I'll see if downloading works better.
I saw the pics you posted of the bikes! Cool shots. Also bmwcyle's shots are cool too.
Bravo on a job superbly done.
The sound of "thunder" certainly helped!
Beautiful!!!! How I wish I could have seen the pinko faces when those bikes rolled up..Please, post every thing that happened.. You guys are just amazing, and God Bless you all. I'm in upstate NY, but I am going to try and join you on one of these freeps.

OHHHH,, Thank You Thank You.. :-)
Photo op for Gael Murphy?
She has nothing to crow about as she seeks to achieve her organization's agenda.
LJ, you have a great talent with PhotoShop, and Freeper allrightallthetime has an idea for a poster to shove in Code Pinko's face
She would like a photo of UBL shopped with a pink cowboy hat and maybe a legend that says "Osama Supports Code Pink" or something equally obnoxious.
We would be in your debt.
I'm not sure how we can get it on a poster, but if you design it, I can probably use the CAD system at the office to put it on paper.
KP, your input would be greatly appreciated.
