No doubt my lice voted NO
Same here in Texas.
Wow - Florida did good. Our Demonrat senator and our RINO both voted yes!
####I'm surprised... Patty Murray (D-Washington) voted Yay.####
Are you sure? I thought she voted Nay.
Twenty two of the most leftist/communist/senators vote nay and both of my millionaire Senators were on the list.
Go New Jersey!
How did Ted Stevens vote? Can I guess?
No surprise here- Coleman (Y), Dayton (N).
Carl Lenin (D) MI
Pat (Leaky) Leahy (D) VT
Jim Jeffords (I) VT
Russ Feingold (D) WI
Herb Khol (D) WI
I can't believe both Lincoln and Pryor (D, Arkansas) BOTH voted for Roberts!
OMG...Patty Murray voted yes....
Now I think she is only 99.9999% stupid.
~~~~~~~~~~
The Swimmer and the Traitor, if you please....
:)
I don't have to look. I have two spineless, Marxist, America-hating commies for senators: Turbin and Osama.
You were right. I double-checked the roll call and Murray did vote "Yay". I'm surprised! (Though most of the 'Rats who voted for Roberts only did so because he was going to win approval no matter what).
I hate it when the Media rats have been allowed to define mainstream.The majority of the voting public voted for George Bush. That same voting public overwhelmingly agree that judges should not legislate from the bench, believe in In God We Trust, are OK with a moment of silence in public schools, do not think same sex marriage is protected by the constition and, do not believe in partial birth abortion.Yet - these positions are presented by the Media RATS as extreme and the opposite of these beliefs are presented as mainstream.
John Roberts was and will be a mainstream jurist - our PR efforts for the next nominee need to be presented as such.
Connecticut.
Blue-as-blue-state gets.
Two Democrat Senators, one just re-elected, the other in absolutely no danger of ever being defeated.
Old bulls of the Democratic Party.
Chris Dodd - yea.
Joe Lieberman - yea.
I have observed that the Democratic politicians of this Land of Steady Habits are Liberal as Liberal can be, but are usually not crazy.
Would any other state in New England actually EXECUTE somebody who desperately needed it?
Connecticut did.
I can stand Connecticut Democrats. Perhaps the state is just too rich to be too nuts.
Only 22 nos? NOW, People for the American Way, and the other assorted liberal moonbats sure are powerful.
I was thinking the same thing. I have not been here long enough to have a really good handle on what they'll do tho.
I'm just glad my Rep is not a Senator instead. I hang my head in shame about him all the time.
susie
