Air America, the liberal radio counterpart to Rush Limbaugh, is now asking its listeners to send in money, leading some analysts to say the network is "crumbling."
The network, featuring voices including Al Franken and Janeane Garofalo, has developed a program where people become "associate" members by contributing cash.

Liberalism has never succeeded on its own merits.
It always requires handouts, or payroll confiscation.

OH, Joy! Gosh, that is the best news I have heard in a long time. Imagine! No wacko far left crap being spewed over the airwaves. I would rather listen in on cell phone conversations than listen to the likes of all Franken (retired bad comedian). Turns out, even the Demos did not listen or support this effort. The only possible better news I would want to hear today is that Jesse Jackson and the very reverend Louis Farakan had dropped dead from some unexplained bloating disease that prevented them from speaking through either orifice.

Thanks. It was a much repeated tagline in Dick Tracy comics in the early 60's (?) when the strip took an odd turn toward bad sci-fi. One of Gould's less absurd creations was a "Space Coupe" which, despite its unwieldy design, utilized magnetism to, yes, overcome gravity. I like the idea.

I have a few tokens left over from my daughter's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. I guess I can part with them.
How about coupons for Alpo. Reckon some of the Err America "ladies" could use them?

Actually, I hope Ere America sticks around for a long time, bleeding money, accumulating lawsuits and fraud charges, sucking up cash from self-rightous liberals that would otherwise be spent on more effective efforts, and providing useful evidence of the rabid lunacy of leftist political thought.

What I don't get is, why is AirAmerica failing? Let's face it, it isn't like there is a shortage of liberals. They're coming out of ceiling. Almost half the electorate voted for Kerry. So why don't they listen to Air America? Theories anyone?
I would say only the moonbats listen to AA. The majority of Kerry voters are Roosevelt Democrats or vote Democrat cause their parents did, but would never listen to AA.

Does this mean we'll soon be seeing Franken and Garafalo on Larry King accusing the Bush Administration of doing something or other to bring down Air America and crush their message?

I think I will send them my Doral pack seals. Really freak them out! LOL

I expect they will be pushing for the equality in broadcasting thing. Where the stations would have to give equal time to liberals. Barf! Still no one would listen, but before the radio stations did something like that they will just drop the talk radio shows. Thats ok. Rush has podcast. LOL

Barf is right! The libs have already got PBS and TV is a much better medium for libs because it's gots pictures and short sound bites and doesn't require any independent thinking by the viewer.

Air America, the liberal radio counterpart to Rush Limbaugh
To be the counterpart to Rush wouldn't they have to have some 20 million listeners a week.

That's an even better idea! You're mean and I like it. Well, they did ask for donations ...
And they did call for all those campaign finance and accountability rules ...

Boy you are right on with that one. Anyone have the guts to listen to this guy? He is right up there with the likes of Randi Rhodes (the Bush shooting skit and encouraging NO looters).

I hear alot of PSAs. And one I hear quite often pleads its listeners not to commit handgun crimes because it will make their little brother sad when you go to jail for a long time.
Target audience?
To: p23185
I have listened for short amounts of time just to hear what the loons on the left is saying. It is difficult.
