You've got 20% off at any given time..vacation, heath, testigying, injured..whatever..about 25% are officers, commanderrs, detectives..lab people..jail ptaff..desk officers..and on a three shift patrol...that menas that on average you were supposed to have had 300 cops patrolling trhe city..because all the fakes had to be from the patrol ranks..it was about 200..that's scary

Sean just said Allen's going to be a good Rep. Cand. for President. He's pushing Allen today.

He has been and has had him on a couple times. Listening to Allen, I kind of agree. Time will tell.

I didn't hear Tony Snow as I can't get him in my area; but I followed the thread that is started each day around 9:00 and can only report that Snow will have more information coming about just how many fake cops there were on the payroll.

Whether they were real people, I don't know. And who actually got the money, I don't know. But I'll bet they "voted" too!

"Correction N.O. cop salary starts at around $18,000 a year - so you just imagine what kind of "talent" that brought to the force."

Sounds like it would attract guys who are only qualified to work at McDonalds, but who want to earn 40 cents an hour more than McDonalds offers.

I must say, When Nagin went off on his tirade about he needed help(cursing), many people cut it off after the sniffles but missed when the reporter asked him if he knew Blanco had to request the govt to come... he was stunned, he had no idea (seriously), either he thought she had, or he didn't know how it worked.

It is beyond incompetent to send police officers, firemen, 911 operators, et al to Las Vegas for some R&R.....it's just plain loony!

The Saturday after the storm, we received our first busload of evacuees. They had been in the SD since the Sunday before. We heard no stories of rape and murder. The people here said they had plenty of water and MRE's. The biggest complaint was the filth and no bathrooms after the 1st couple of days. And the heat.

Nagin lost it in one of his 1st pressers. It's been downhill since then. Including becomming a Dallas homeowner. What a joke.

Because Blanco told him the FEDS promised to provide EVERYTHING.

He had no other option but to believe her.

She lied.
