How does this have anything to do with Bush? Ever hear of the Federal Bureau of Investigation?
To: dfwgator
Right, Calypso, along with Rev. Jackson and Rev. Al. So I guess he picks his men of God very carefully? ha!

We're referring to the President's demeanor for the past five years.
He just keeps on keeping on. Doing his job, never ever pointing fingers at anyone.
Never playing the blame game.
If I admire that, and I do, then I am proudly a Bushbot.

Shermy.... you're not really that gullible are you? There's crime all over our country that the FBI could be investigating.

I was born and raised in Louisiana. The pols in that state have been corrupt for decades. They just go to a posh prison if indicted and convicted for a few years. Then they are off and running again. Sometimes I think it is less about the money, as some are truly rich already, as about their powerful positions and egos.

You mean instead of a "I'm a crook" ticket? LOL. And the "We're no worse than anybody else!" ticket, and the "Where else you gonna go?" ticket.

Yet he did nothing to purge the payroll of all the phantom cops.

It's getting to the point where we need a Black Ops van to follow reporters around to check their sources. Usually they contradict themselves anyway... that's why we have to grab all the Katrina timelines and LA politics and scandals off the web before they vanish.

It's about several hundred of your officers leaving their posts in the face of the storm. It's about some of your police officers caught on camera shoplifting. It's about having the decency to step down. Too bad Nagin didn't take the hint. Ditto that on Blank-O.It's more than that, now. It's felony diversion of federal funds by putting phantom cops on the payroll.

Why would he know of it in the first place?

It would seem that the mayor would know whether or not he had 450 officers. I suppose there could have been an elaborate coverup.
