I am heading down to the Rally site now, to help with setting up - which began at 5am today. I didn't know if someone would post a live thread later. My apologies if I have stepped on any toes.

Unfortunately, the other side...uses numbers, like the polls, and now the protest number vs. the rally number...
to make their talking points....and you better believe that on all of the cable channels tomorrow, and even on the floor of the congress tomorrow....
these discrepancies will be touted. The protestors are supposed to march on Congress tomorrow to tell them to bring the troops home NOW.
Kristinn (or someone there today)was exhorting the people there today...to stay until tomorrow and go to Congress and tell them to "stay the course"---
I have a feeling the TV shots will be of the "bring them home now" crowd...because the of course the MSM is on their side.
Also....you guys, perhaps a lot of people that might have gone to today's rally were in Texas and LA...or helping in those places and couldn't make it this weekend, because of a little thing like 2 hurricanes...

Looks like the anti-war crowd is really having a fit, that they didn't get full coverage on all the TV channels, that TV considered covering the hurricanes more important than their protest.
Goes to show you, what their priorities are: "me, me, me, look at me".
Here is one of them complaining about their lack of coverage, they are just figuring out that they are free to speak, but they don't have the right to force people to listen to them. It's quite amusing.

It is not that difficult to get 100,000 people out if:
1. They don't have a job to go to on Monday Morning.
2. They are being given a check by the government to cover their basic needs so they can hop on a bus to DC for however long the party lasts.
3..The "Anti-Anti-Anti " machine can bring along people from a vast array of left wing causes. Our message was One Pro-america, Pro Military, Pro Iraqi Freedom message. You can easily see how they got numbers when you heard the numerous different groups be recognized.
4. The majority of college students are left wing.
5. When you have a SALARIED Leftist "Demonstration Machine" that can be mobilized at a moment's notice....It's the French Foreign Legion of Politics.
SO PLEASE...Let's not compare apples to oranges!
