David Gregory is a first class twit. The President did the very same thing with Katrina. He delayed going to the area until after a few days so he would NOT interfere with the rescue efforts. He's doing the same thing here, but David Gregory seems to be banking on folks NOT remembering that.

Brilliant deductive reasoning on your part.

Dear David,
Let's see, I believe you hit the trifecta for souless pessimism with this poisoness article.
#1 you questioned both GWB's motives & his leadership
#2 you mocked and demeaned his actions & plans
#3 you call into question the confidence that the president cares about them to your fellow citizens who are in a desparate and dangerous natural disaster.
And you wonder why you are bleeding, no haemorraghing viewers on NBC? I don't. Shame on you!

Hope this helps:
Mr. Gregory,
You are the lowest form of life I have ever seen. You are lower than the proverbial whale sh**.
Lower than the belt buckle on a rattlesnake crawling through a wagon rut in Death Valley.
Lower than an outcast cleaning the deepest cesspit in India.
Lower than a bacteria on sewage in the lowest level of New York City's sewers.
Lower than slime mold.
Lower than Madeline Albright's t*ts.
Lower than Warren Beatty's morals.
Lower than Barbra Streisand's IQ.
Lower than Ted Kennedy's hemorrhoids.
You set the world standard for low rent, low brow, low blow MSM b*st*rd.

President Bush is a very patient man, but I sense there is a point where he can be made angry. I saw his response to this stupid question today and I thought then that he had reached that point. I would be worried about my job as chief WH corrospondant if I were Mr. Stuck on Stupid.

As much as I read I really don't know to what you all are refering. Clue me in.
I think David Gregory is not a reporter, that would be a compliment. He is like most libs, Phil Donahue is one, talk fast and be sure to yell.

I agree. Even at my age, I do believe I might be able to ensure this pompous little leftist twirp would sing a high soprano for a spell. *S*
The disdain I have for the MSM has no bounds. (And, I see 60 Minutes has sunk to the point of having to resurrect Ed Bradley -- out of his wheelchair or walker -- to head up the CBS program.)
Have to love the demise of the Liberal Media!!

Bush TOOK OVER and that's why things are getting done. Stupid gregory. He proves at the briefings what we all know already and that is that he is a simple jackass.

It seems as though the White House press correspondents are competing with each other to see who can be the most critical of the President.Running a close second with the bashers here on Free Republic. I am sick of all of them.

David is a first class jerk who can't even pretend to be objective. The President should just ignore the piece of trash, never call on him or answer a question from him again.

Please don't try to play "God-Cop". His example didn't denigrate anything and was perfectly valid. FEMA doesn't have the legal authority to bust into a city and force state and local government officials to accept their help. If you want that kind of centralized federal control, vote Democratic.

Not be critical, but Gregory's piece was "catty" -- as if it were written by a high school girl.
An immature high school girl...

I wasn't denigrating His sacrifice . The idea was that the media wouldn't "get it" no matter what happened.
Besides, it took FEMA 3 WEEKS to show up after hurricane Charley in 1999. The media was REAL quiet about that.

Gregory's piece probably sounded even nastier in the original French.
This is the guy who, when Bush had a joint press conference with a visiting French leader, made a point of asking a question in French in order to highlight the fact that President Bush is not fluent in that language.
