Your husband is correct, you probably are more aware of evil.
Most Protestant Christians tend to accept individual spiritual salvation, and ignore the larger non-individual based spiritual battle of good versus evil.
Just an observation, and it is their right to do so, given to them by Jesus Christ.
Most Catholic Christians still battle evil collectively.
Again, just an observation, and again, it is their right to do so, given to them by God.
God will do as he wills, as will those he created.
The battle has been ongoing for a long time now, and is most likely coming to the final stages.
We will all view things slightly differently, depending upon our spiritual beliefs and skills, but hopefully all of us who love God, and battle evil, will find it within ourselves to continue on the path of goodness, and of God, and fight the evil that comes our way.
