I just got such a kick out of this that I just HAD to share......

I passed around an e-mail that pointed out the various flaws of the local and state govt plans in LA during Katrina, and a friend that I immensely enjoy "tweeking" replied back to me. I have been doubled over laughing ever since. God, where do I start with a response back to him? Or should I even bother????? Anyone who can write this stuff with a straight face (and under a fifth of whiskey) is a lost cause.......

All the sudden the thread was inundated with Viking Kitties and zot gifs. Fortunately I wasn't tombstoned and a kind Freeper directed me to the HTML Sandbox and FR acronyms and etiquette (sp?).

Are you from Seattle? This guy sounds like a guy who wrote a "letter-to-the-editor" recently. Said that the reason why we were able to help out so quickly for the tsunami is because we already have the plans worked up so we can move into ANY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD quickly to take them over. He thought that the state of Washington should declare war on the U.S. so that then we will be quickly responded to when Mt. Rainier blows.

You know, that worked with one of the lefties I encounter on a frequent basis.

One day shortly after the election they were going on and on about their spouse wanting to move to Canada, How could they live through 4 more years of GWB. I said well then, if this is such a terrible place - please do go to Canada and stop whining about it. I didn't much like WJC but I never made empty threats about leaving during the 8 long years of his tenure.
