So is this his clever way of revealing that Roberts will not be filibusteredThat is the news here. He WILL vote on the nominee.

I think Kennedy was also approved unanimously (but remember he was Reagan's third choice for the spot vacated by Lewis Powell)

Shameful, just shameful.
Its also shameful that the decent red staters of Nevada have not thrown him out of office.

Harry must have missed the last DemocRAT Leadership Conference meeting. It was a joint meeting with Alcoholics Anonymous.

This simply opens the door for Bush to nominate anyone he chooses for the next slot.

Friend, they are quite funny. Thanks for passing them on and do forgive me for being overly-sensitive. Peace.

Wrong.
Not a ONE denounced Babs, they even got up to make fools of themselves by questioning the veracity of the election results in Ohio including HILLARY.
While not many voted WITH her, they practically ALL gave her moral and vocal support on the floor including their new found fav Obama.

Can any Democrat seriously claim to have a brain bigger than that of a gnat? Harry Reid who?
To: TChris
I guess Reid thinks that being well-qualified is not a qualification for the job.

Not Hillary. I would be surprised if she voted against Roberts. She'll put her own self-interests above her own party.
Slick jumping out into public bashing the President is cover and insurance for her vote for Roberts. A vote for will appeal to the moderates, while Slick doing some Bush bashing will placate the left-wing loons upset over her vote.
