This is so beautiful Dolly! Thank you for pinging me your post!
That's my ((((Sis!)))) Love you, cookie. : )
Thank you for another Military Monday.
God Bless and Protect our Military.
Finally, I get a minute to drop by and say hi to everyone. But it's not helping, because you are posting about the deaths of Mustang and TexasFlower. I can't seem to escape from the daily death count. This entire year has been one after another of people I love crossing the veil. My heart is heavy. On Thurs. Carrie died at age 20 from genetic lung disease. I baptized her when she was just a little girl, and watched her grow up. Went to her viewing last night and funeral today. Largest one I've ever seen. Left there and ran into someone who told me that one of my best friend's husband had just died. Had to drop everything and rush to her side. It has not been a happy day. I need my Sistah and my Sistahs.
I am so sorry, Nan. How heartbreaking when a young person dies. And how very hard it must be to minister to grieving friends.
Feel hugged, dear Nan, because I am hugging you in my heart.
"Life's just grand. I'm a Christian, and love God with all my heart. Without Him, I wouldn't even exist. I'm dating the most wonderful guy in the world. -------He's just the best thing to happen to me."
Her favorite quote: "Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly."
She wrote most of the sermon that was used at her funeral. It was a dream she had and wrote about. When I can get a copy I'll post it. It was really something. She was homecoming queen in her Senior year. Her life and witness no doubt will lead many of her peers to Christ.
