Looking for Text of Bush's Katrina Speech
Posted on 09/17/2005 11:17:48 AM PDT by Maceman
I searched for the words: "Bush speech text address transcript" individually and in various combinations.
But I cannot find the actual text of his speech. I'm sure it must be here on FR. Can anyone direct me to it?
Thanks.

You mean President Bush, right? No. I meant Sam Bush, the guy who runs the local dry cleaning store.

No. I meant Sam Bush, the guy who runs the local dry cleaning store. I couldn't find any speeches by Sam Bush, but I found this quote:
One day in 1996, Sam Bush (formerly of New Grass Revival) was asked what it felt like making his own business decisions for a change. "Well," he replied, "I've had to fire myself a couple of times."

Then that would explain the lack of respect you demonstrated by NOT referring to President Bush.

The White House website has the text of all the President's speeches as well as various video clips such as his nomination of John Roberts to the Supreme Court.
