Congressman John Lewis, D, Georgia

Surely, Rep John Lewis's comments are not serious.
Because Roberts was 10 years old when the Civil Rights acts were passed, that disqualifies him. lol
Unbelievable.
I guess no one under age 60 can be a SC J, if Lewis sets the standard. Then in another decade, 70 as minimum. Then in two decades, 80.

Brown has got writings/speeches that would make each and everyone of the dembos go absolutely ballistic especially what she thinks of the new deal. I for one would love to see her on the supreme court. Don't think it'll happen, unfortunately.
What'd be perfect if the dembos would filibuster Robert's...nuke option is implemented...then next nominee would slide through....which IMHO, would be Janice Brown.

One of the agenda items (something about Iran/Contra?)apparently distressed Turbin... It was about a case involving Bob Jones University in which John Roberts was barred from being involved within two years of serving as a clerk to Justice Rehnquist.
It did indeed amount to nothing, much like Mr. and Mrs. Durbin's boy

U.S. Commission on Civil Rights woman (Jennifer Braceras) is good -- unequivocal support for Roberts and answering the objections (which she considers specious).

"...nuke option is implemented..." Keep dreaming! Our side in the Senate does not have the spine/cahones to pull that off. Sad but true.
