I was prepared for him to be an enemy. Pleasantly surprised.

I'm not sure every nominee could execute the same strategery

I think a person of Judge Roberts intellect and character comes along only once or maybe twice in a lifetime.

His intellect is so far beyond the average to be incomprehensible to me.

I think Stephen Hawkins in the science field would be comparable in intellect, but of course in science, not law.

Speaking of that, did anyone else notice the echoes lately of "I take responsibility"? When's the investigation?

I see Schumer voting for Roberts.

He didn't last time and he won't this time. We shall see who is right in a few weeks.

I set my clock wrong, I wanted to hear Durbin, I have been up since 3:30 AM, and I did not go to bed until at least midnight. Seems to me one year ago I was every bit as punchy from campaigning as I am today.

If you need to take a break from the "ugliness" on this panel, take a look at the cutest thing in Washington. D.C.

Edleman claims Roberts will try to turn back the clock.

What a putz.
Typical, commie sympathizer, tenured professor.

The House just took a vote on having a congressional hearing into the response to Katrina.

It passed overwhelmingly and only a few Democrats voted for it. Very few.
