I'm not sure every nominee could execute the same strategery They can to the extent they not say a thing about their personal views, only their legal views and keep to the "new tradition" set by Roberts that personal views have no room on the Supreme Court.
As he said, this is why they all wear Black Robes.

Jeff Sessons....Ms. Greenberger..you sort of represent a collalition of groups that are for the activist judiciary.....found NYTs 2001 article about retreat that democrat senators had for the purpose of forging a unified strategy to combat the WH judicial nominees....you and Professor Tribe and Professor Cassunsteen appeared and it states that you said to them...important for the senate to change the ground rules and not to confirm someone simply becuz they were scholarly or edudite...so I guess my question to you....are you the architect of the fillibuster strategy...do you claim credit for that?
Greenberger...giggle...well Senator Sessions..you know you can't always trust what reporters say in terms of the accuracy...giggle...barf...I never talked about changing the groundrules for confirmations at all so I'm not certain about that article...not something I would have said
