I'm not sure every nominee could execute the same strategery

I think a person of Judge Roberts intellect and character comes along only once or maybe twice in a lifetime.

His intellect is so far beyond the average to be incomprehensible to me.

I think Stephen Hawkins in the science field would be comparable in intellect, but of course in science, not law.

The reason I claimed that not every nominee could execute the same strategery is not solely due to intellect and character -- Roberts has both in spades, but so did Bork. What makes Roberts so amazing is that in addition he is personable, witty, direct, and humble. He's also thoroughly likeable. There aren't too many people who have all of that going for them.
