Coming soon, a liberal federal activist judge will delcare The War on Terrorist as illegal and unconstitutional!
The U.S. will must refrain itself from defending and protecting its citizens from Jihad or Holy War due the mythical wall of seperation between church and state.

I thought the Congress pass legislation restricting the Federal judicial jurisdiction with regard to the pledge?

funny I thought the supreme court said he had no grounds to bring these case to court on behalf of his daughter... and I have not heard of him having another child in school.

I think it ws foolish for the Supreme Court on that case last year.
To: nov7freedomday
He's wrong. It's certainly more of a hope than a statement of reality, but it sure isn't unconstitutional.

We should change the Pledge to say: "One Nation, under a rock, with liberty and justice for minorities and other selected liberals." Nah. I like it the way it is! 8^)

Some other SF decided same thing a few years ago. Overturned on procedural ground, ie: Plaintiff's "Standing."

I always thought that it wasn't the 'under God' part that bugged the lib's; it's the patriotism part. It's only a matter of time until they decide displaying the Stars and Stripes is unconstitutional.

"One Nation, under a rock, with liberty and justice for minorities and other selected liberals."How about this one:
"One Nation, not under Democratic rule, with liberty and justice for all."
After all, that IS the problem, isn't it?
Anyway, if you remove the "under God" phrase, the liberals will just object to the entire "idea" of pledging to the country.

It's not any one thing, it is a whole bunch of stuff mixed together. We're talking witches brew here, FRiend.
