Mary Landrieu: Brown Resignation Not Enough
News Max ^ | Sept 13, 2005 | Carl Limbacher

Posted on 09/13/2005 7:10:06 PM PDT by yoe

Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu said Monday that Michael Brown's resignation as head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency would not be enough to stem the tidal wave of criticism leveled at the Bush administration over its handling of the Hurricane Katrina crisis.

Brown's departure, Landrieu said, "will not alone solve all the problems that plagued the federal government's response to Hurricane Katrina and the devastating floods that followed the levee breaches."

In a statement posted to her Web site, the Louisiana democrat insisted that the Bush White House still needed to be held responsible.

"The people of our nation, and in particular, the Gulf Coast, deserve and demand full accountability for this administration's missteps in protecting and helping Americans in need," Landrieu complained.

On Sunday, Landrieu said it was President Bush's fault that New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin didn't use city school buses to evacuate those trapped by flooding.

A week earlier, she threatened to punch President Bush if he criticized Louisiana state and local officials.

Read it again and send again it to all on your e-mail lists. (Mary, Mary, (Quite to the) Contrary)

Mary Landrieu is part of a southern culture that has not changed in over 60 years. She is also the new female Ted Kennedy for outrageous and mendacious lies. Pretty as a picture, this South'ren Belle is as hard as nails when it comes to the Democratic Party, a family business, and she takes no prisoners. Ms. Landrieu is egregious to a fault in blaming President Bush for the poor in Louisiana. “Tis Ms. Landrieu who has kept Louisiana’s culture below the poverty line for decadeswith the help of some 5 TRILLION DOLLARS collected from U.S. taxpayers - it is indeed a way of life. So don’t complain little miss, you done it all by your self!

Of course! It's NEVER enough. People like her are bottomless pits when it comes to recompense. Maybe if you cut off your right arm, gave half a gallon of blood, and then sacrificed one of your kids on the alter of the U.N. they would be "satisfied". But I doubt it.

POUND SAND senator. You incompetent leftist boob!

I saw her on TV tonight, still demanding that the Bush be made to blame...

I have decided that she looks like a bulldog....btw.

BUT, we have found out in the last couple of days, that along with the fleet of buses that were left to flood...

AMTRAK offered the services of it trains BEFORE the Hurricane...and was turned down...

And now, a freeper and Hannity have exposed a story that says the ENVIRONMENTALISTS stopped a floodgate project that the Army Corps of Engineers had planned and spent millions on ---only to have a court rule in the environmentalists favor...

and STOP building of floodgates on Lake Ponchatrain that could have kept NO from flooding...

BRING ON THE HEARINGS, LANDRIEU!!!!

This woman has a death wish.

Hopefully, her political opponents have several copies of her appearance on FOX News Sunday last Sunday. After that disaster, her only chance was to STFU and lie very low - intelligence, judgement etc. all seem to be missing.
