The Dem playbook
The Hill newspaper gives us a peek at the Democratic playbook for the Roberts hearings. Below are the attack assignments for the Democratic members of the Committee:
Kennedy -- civil rights
Leahy -- Bybee torture memo
Biden -- privacy, personal autonomyand the 9th Amendment
Kohl -- Property rights and civil liberties
Feinstein -- "judicial activism" and Roe vs. Wade
Feingold -- limits of executive powers
Schumer and Durbin have wisely refused to show their hand.

Yes, he's great!
Oh, jeez, back to abortion, disguised as concern about the right to privacy. Good for him, he's not falling into her clumsy traps.
LOL! Not one senator is on par with him. They know it too.
FCOL, now she's on assisted suicide. She is just going down the Dem issue by issue list.
Cool that is where I am starting, dough and toppings getting the shop started. I accidentally say saw my test scores all tops.
New phrase from Feinstein "assistant suicide".
I feel like committing unassisted suicide right now!
He's hitting 1000 right now... (Baseball analogy)
You won't get an answer; the "I'm the real, true conservative heres" never have SOLUTIONS, just "issues."
Did the chicken cross the road?
Did he cross it with a toad?
Yes, the chicken crossed the road,
But why it crossed, I've not been told!

These Senators understand the basics. That someone that pledges to a belief and infallible practice of stare decisis is unlikely to overturn roe. They come into the hearing with this rudimentary knowledge, but they fail to understand the scope of intellectual thoughts on the topic. Easily Roberts trumps them since he didn't study a Cliff Notes version of stare decisis, but actually read the "book".
His memory is clearly either very developed or shades of photographic.
Doesn't need notes I hear. His incredible retentive skills were highlighted by Ken Starr and others who worked with him.
How can one guy have that much detailed info stored in his brain, just ready and waiting? LOL His mind is like a legal library.
He's doing just super. Even some of the Dims can't seem to help being impressed by his unflappable, pragmatic approach and extraordinary memory. ;)
And FOX is also doing a GREAT job, with the key Legal Terms at bottom and sidebar key Case Summaries. Before I switched channels I was just going on my memory of these cases from my two little college law classes, and boy, I'm rusty.
Toad limits, too.

YES, prairie --- he is slaying the democrats. He cannot be tricked!
He is brilliant!
While I am loath to disagree with Ann Coulter, I am beginning to like this fellow John Roberts, and to feel that the President did right by his base here.
He is doing fantastic.
SNL Skit?
With Schumer coming up, it is a true pity John Belushi is gone...
Samurai Senator, your sword is broken...
