Q&A with Roberts to Start
On Tuesday, the eighteen members of the Senate Judiciary Cmte. begin questioning Chief Justice nominee John Roberts. This will take all day, with the senators asking their questions, up to a half-hour for each member, in order of seniority, alternating by party.

Kennedy -- civil rights
Leahy -- Bybee torture memo
Biden -- privacy, personal autonomyand the 9th Amendment
Kohl -- Property rights and civil liberties
Feinstein -- "judicial activism" and Roe vs. Wade
Feingold -- limits of executive powers
Schumer and Durbin have wisely refused to show their hand.

Biden is going to lunch like a fat bloated toad, thinking he is so smart to be a sarcastic rude dog. His young little staff is giving him high fives saying that is just how your base wanted you to behave. Moveon.hate is on fire now that their cheerleaders are showing their nasty attitudes. The dems are the party of negativity and hate. They are not who the average person wants in their faces, much less living rooms.
I agree. This is the first hearing my husband has ever been able to watch a hearing, and he's absolutely disgusted, but he assures me, that the rudeness of Kennedy and Biden are not playing well with Mr & Mrs John Q.
Polite questioning (even the same questions) would be better received by the folks, but neither Kennedy nor Biden are men enough to take the high road. He said both men are pigs and I agree....lol.
