Looks like the Left is eating their own.

PETA cares more about attention then results.

Its why they have lost members of the years and why they have so much internal strife.

There is suspicion about embezzelment over there too.

They may be left wing, but never forget they are also quite corrupt and publicity seeking, and those 2 things comes first.

Sidenote: A friend of mine from high school is engaged to a girl who used to work for PETA down in DC.

She has since resigned, though she is still a vegetarian (she claims to be a vegan....but she cheats).

The facts! Note how the right has the celeb macho types who maintain their health and fitness- Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris, Tom Selleck, Clint Eastwood, Curt Schilling, Kid Rock, "The Rock," Bruce Willis, Karl Malone, John Elway, etc., etc.

The liberals present Michael Moore, Rosie O'Donnell, Sean Penn, Martin Sheehan, John Mellenkamp, etc.

Absolutely right. PETA is stupid. I'm a life-long vegetarian, and that didn't stop me from getting obese several years ago (I'm now in good shape again).

PETA folks love their own holier-than-thou self images, not animals.

Beautiful! One of my officemates (and one of my grad advisors) at school is a hard-core vegetarian and part of the anti-gun, tree-hugger, 'killing a living being to eat is wrong', whine whine whine crowd. I try to explain to them my new-found 'vegetable rights activism & awareness campaign'. I personally don't see how people can kill such beautiful plants, just to eat them. So, I merely go after the critters who devour such beautiful plants. (i.e. cows, pigs, chicken, turkey, duck/goose, deer...) And in keeping with the normal 'activist mentality', I force my beliefs down their throat and tell them that they HAVE to live the same way I do! You should join my campaign. Its great, Cow eats veggies, I eat cow. Two birds with one stone!!
