FOX News (Click here for MUST SEE Video) ^ | Brit Hume and Major Garrett

Posted on 09/07/2005 3:35:54 PM PDT by NickatNite2003

Just heard on FOX that Blanco refused to allow supplies to be brought to the stadium, "Because they wanted all those people to leave, and they didn't want to create a magnet to bring others there, by bringing in food and water!"""

If Blanco resigns or is impeached, its Sen. Landrieu's bro...the Lt. Gov, iirc.

Okay, that's one now what was her reason she didn't have security at the Dome?

She didn't want to scare the thugs into the streets?

Sean Penn was using CNN'S Nic Robertson's boat to "help" New Orleans' evacuees.

"The Governor et al purposely disregarded the disaster plan. Did the Governor break the law and if so is she subject to jail and then is the state liable for her malfeasance?"

Sounds like a job for a special prosecutor. And while they're at it, they can investigate the whole Landrieu machine.

Jindahl and a lot of others will change their tune, once they learn of this Blanco news. Castrate him, however, for doubting.

I know these people. Bottom line is money and real estate.

I have no doubt you do, and that that's true, sadly.

Just forwarded this letter to the Pitt. Post Gazette.

In regard to you article of Sept 03, Homeland Security Won't Let Red Cross Deliver Food, you said that the "American Red Cross officials said that federal emergency management authorities would not allow them to do the same. "

If you check the Red Cross web site and a report this evening by Major Garrett you will see that it was not the federal emergency management authorities that denied them access but the LA HOMELAND SECURITY AGENCY.

They are two distinctly different organizations, the later being the responsibilty of the state government NOT the federal government.

I am hopeful that you will correct any misconception that your news article may have given the public reading it.

Be fair...the Mayor did tell the people to bring their own food and water. ...for three days!

That's laughable. (I know you're being sarcastic)

If I, as an evacuee, did not have three days worth of food & water stored up at home and did not have a vehicle to get said food & water, how the heck was I going to bring it to the stadium to take care of myself within one day's time?

The Governor should be impeached. I would say recall the mayor of New Orleans...but there's no city to recall him from.

The mayor & governor had no concept of how destitute the people were.

Jindal is a pub and a genius. He really is. The was however "too dark" for the whites of La and "too white" for the blacks. He is an american raised Indian, a catholic and is the hope of Louisianians who think.

He "was" the hope - he screwed-up big-time this week. All he had to do was say "Let's all concentrate on saving lives right now and worry about the rest later." And then, shut up.

To paraphrase Teresa Heinz Kerry, Senators Reid and Clinton can "shove it". There isn't going to be an investigation of the Bush Administration. Sorry guys, better luck next time.

Most people here feel that way.

We are sick of the political posturing, race baiting, blaming. We are in the midst of this and I think he spoke for alot.

He is working in NO.

Freepers are quick to judge and slow to admit that things are not always the way they see them.

Believe me, we are sick to death of this crap. If you were living here, you would understand.

"This woman would seemingly rather have people die than give up one bit of her power. I wish President Bush would hold a press conference, explain to the country what's going on, and find SOME federal power to de-throne her (if there is any)."

No! He should call a press conference and have that c^nt Nancy Pelosi explain what she (Blanco) is doing. Pelosi has allllll the answers, doncha know.

Pelosi is the most outlandish piece of sh!t in this whole mess. I do hope she is hit by a Train.
