Husband's job. I would love to move back to Texas!!!!!
My husband loves California (the natural resources). He loves the weather, the mountains, the beach.
We do have good friends. We're in a conservative part, but I can barely take all the liberals.
There was an article on FR that of the 1,500 police force, 1,000 either never showed up after the hurricane or walked shortly thereafter.
And the clueless Governor waited until at least Wednesday (late, as I recall) to order up additional National Guard troops.
I just had a freeper on another thread tell me that a few rapes and what happened in NO didn't represent a breakdown in civil society. OMG
Thank you for doing that Johnnie. We all need to keep bombarding the media with the facts. They are too stupid for belief.
WDSU showing pics. One showed debris deposited on top of a levee, which means the water did indeed overflow the levee.
Something we're missing, for sure, because they are like parrots about that.
Let's think on that ....
Tell, Tex!
Hmm....
I have a sneaky suspicion that that whole system came to an abrupt end on Thursday.
Whew. Glad I just downloaded a hard copy minutes before it was pulled.
postponed until after Rehnquist is buried, its no big deal.
Remember there been a communication problem all along....The only thing getting through is the Rat's talking points. BTW why hasn't Dean showed up. He's a DR.
Latino Health Access Network (La Red)
Latinos represent 5.1% (48,244) of total population of Orleans and Jefferson Parishes combined (2000 US Census). No reliable estimates are available for undocumented residents, but the numbers are estimated to be significant. Currently, the health system does not adequately address the unique needs of this population.
La Red is a collaborative project of Daughters of Charity

The Corps Of Engineers does the difficult immediately, the impossible takes a little bit longer.
I'd bet that the pumps are dewatered and back in operation by end of day or sometime tomorrow.
They make airplanes for that - you can fly out, check out whatever, then fly back to a real state.
What does he do there that he can't do here?
"And now I was just reading that the Today show today was droning on about how there are TOO many military in NO. A day or 2 ago there weren't enough, now too many.
You can't ever please people like this.
No Good Deed Goes Unpunished as Today Show Now Frets Too Many Troops in New Orleans."
Thanks!
As Abe Linclon said, "You can please some of the people all the time, all of the people some of the time,
but, you can't please all of the people all of the time. And you can't please the liberals any time."
Deep down the majority of Americans think that most of the blame belong to the residents of New Orleans who stupidly stayed despite all the warnings to have mandatory evacuation. What strenghten this belief are the looting, and crimes that occurred in the aftermath of the hurricane. Of course the majority of American will not say this publicly but this is what they believe. Liberals and their defeated media can go and blame the President all what they want and they can create all the bogus polls they want to show that the majority of Americans blame the President for what happened but this will not change the fact that majority of people do not believe this but rather they are blaming the New Orleans resident who decided to stay and not leave.
Rev. T. D. Jakes of Dallas on with the President now.

I found/saved a copy too....One of my friends that serves in the Guard (he trains MP here in IN) says they are getting the State Mental Hospitol located near here ready for something. (It's been vacated in the last couple of years and is now being used as a training area for military)....It has high fences...security locked building...etc....Didn't give me any more information.
