On CNN just now. New Orleans Mayor Nagin, apparantly stressed out, in interview segment, said he has been yelling at the President and the Governor, and for all he knows, the "CIA could wipe me out". (Paraphrase) Just now.
Turning into a strange, macabre show now. Blame continues, spiraling out of control. Sad. It even raised CNN's eyebrows a bit.(5:57 p.m. Eastern/4:57 p.m. Central)

Obviously, he is not aware that the CIA works outside the country.
It would be the FBI who would kill him within the US.
In Louisiana? I doubt it. However, I think there is probably some way they could temporarily cede full authority to FEMA. I realize that it is a drastic move, but with ever passing hour the two of them are making the situation worse.
Because that was the plan. The New Orleans hurricane preparedness plan called for evacuation of those with vehicles, with those without vehicles (about 20% of the population) to hunker down. This fiasco went exactly as planned!

thanks for the heads up on another CNN transcript to watch for. do you know who was interviewing him? In the meantime, here's another rant, from the idiotic Carol Moseley Braun on CNN by phone, earlier in the day:

HARRIS: I'm sure you do. We all do. I have to ask you, what your impressions are. We're almost a week into this disaster. Can I ask you for your immediate and well thought out impression?

When blacks went to do the same thing, they were called rioters. People should not be deferred to as refugees and rather treated like American citizens. Deserving of the support from their government to deal with this."
