On CNN just now. New Orleans Mayor Nagin, apparantly stressed out, in interview segment, said he has been yelling at the President and the Governor, and for all he knows, the "CIA could wipe me out". (Paraphrase) Just now.
Turning into a strange, macabre show now. Blame continues, spiraling out of control. Sad. It even raised CNN's eyebrows a bit.(5:57 p.m. Eastern/4:57 p.m. Central)

sorry been away from the computer...just had to tell you that article gave me a good laugh after a very stressful day...lol Wonder if instead of Pineville, we can ship Naggin (I prefer this spelling) to Venezuela instead...lol He would feel right at home :)

He paid them with what? City funds? Personal funds?

The problem with Mayor Nagin, is that nothing in his business school education, ever prepared him for this kind of situation.

Thanks.
Must be the same tweaking.

Can you say meltdown? How about paranoia?
I heard Nagin said yesterday he was worried he'd gone over the line with his rants. Looks like it's messing with his head......

Well, ol' Ben was a bad soldier, AND a crook, and he didn't have good interpersonal skills, and he was mean, and he was ugly as ten miles of bad road, but he was NOT stupid. He was a brilliant plaintiffs' trial lawyer before he bribed his way into the Army.
Have you ever read his obituary that was published in the Nashville American? I have it saved somewhere . . . it starts off "The Beast is Dead!" and goes downhill from there.

They only showed the female reporter's initial question to Hizzoner and then his response. After that, I don't think there was particularly too much of a response from the anchor over this CNN piece featuring the Crackpot Mayor. I think they didnt want to even lower themselves, CNN--scumbags that THEY are, to that level, that is to say, to the level of Nagin, a total incompetent (who would have been relieved 72 hours ago if, uh, particular circumstances were a bit different and were it not for political correctness).

There may well be a grad student out there somewhere in an Organizational Behavior class earning his MBA, figuring out an interesting thesis to write:
"Leaders in Crisis: Comparatives Between Mayor Nagin and Chief Moose, Hour-by-Hour"

Just saw your post about CNN transcripts...I am sorry, I don't know how/where to get them quick...
BTW, I saw a piece on WWL with that Mayor Nagin...and the reporters were asking him where they were going to put the bodies that are retreived...his answer--I don't know.
Their question...will they be put in refrigerated trucks---him: I don't know.
Their question...will they be buried here in NO...or cremated because of disease, or what.
Him: I don't know.
Enough said.
