Rev. Al Sharpton (R) holds a motherless child along with Congresswoman Shelia Jackson Lee (L) as they visit survivors of hurricane Katrina on the floor of the Astrodome in Houston, Texas September 3, 2005. President George W. Bush ordered more troops to help evacuate and secure New Orleans on Saturday as rescuers moved thousands of desperate evacuees out of the city and shut down two huge shelters that had become the scene of murder, rape and chaos. Under fire for his government's slow response to Hurricane Katrina, which wrecked one of the world's most famous cities and may have killed thousands of people, Bush said he will send in 7,200 additional active duty troops in the next three days. < REUTERS/Richard Carson
But that's how decadence manifests itself these days.
The media SUCKS.
Just poverty pimps. I wouldn't give a nickle to anything they demand support for.
To use tragedy for personal or political gain is about as low as you can go. For shame!
Not dressed for work are they?
World's oldest professional work attire varies from local to local.
What did Rev. Al do with the child after the photo-OP?
It must be a Michael Jackson' child-carry thing. Probably well intentioned, but not well-thought out.
I wish someone would post those pictures side by side with captions.
Um, when did Al Sharpton start dressing himself out of Kim Jong-il's wardrobe?
Thats Al Green in between the baby and Al Sharpton...
He's another "local Houston" elected official, who pimps for the camera anytime he gets a chance...
The baby's mother is to the left of Queen Shiela...
There is no way a baby like that would be left on the floor of the dome like this without being in the care of a verified relative, or guardian...
In the situation in the dome right now...If you don't have a parent present, you are cared for in a separate room or facility under the supervision of the local CPS...period...Not out on the floor with the rest of the folks...
They have enough to worry about...
the only thing al's gonna drive is a bigger wedge between the truth and those stupid enough to listen
Al Sharpton reminds me of a silly kid who wants to get into every picture that is taken.
The Presidents' probably thinking...
"Yeah, right...You're the guy whining about how slow the Federal government is in coming to bail your sorry, indignate rear end out of this mess, that you made worse by your poor leadership ability...Well, ok, we're here now...You may go away..."
"BTW, whats with all those flooded out busses over in the N.O. school districts bus barn???"
Hmmmm, I thought that might cause you a little bit of uncomfortable silence...
Mr. and Mrs. Race Pimp.
Hmmm. I notice HE didn't try to go to New Orleans to help those poor people in the Superdome about whom he was SO concerned yesterday. He's only interested in the photo op with this motherless child.
"I dunno, Sheila... I still say it looks more like Jesse than it does me..."
Thank you for the information.
