Well, what's past is past, and nobody could resurrect the dead. But the "lessons learned" is a valuable part for the future, and should be treated as such. For example, much earlier and stronger emphasis should be placed on maintaining law and order in all emergency situations.
Mitt has shown he is not capable of moving Mass one inch from the entrenched liberal mecca. He has done nothing to advance the conservative movement here and he should expect nothing from his national ambitions.
The state Republicans actually lost ground in the last election and it is a good bet that the Gay Marriage amendment will loose in the state legislature this month.
Eventually everyone one of these hacks is going ask GWB his blessing if they win the nomination. I wouldn't blame him if told every last one of them to go to hell!
I'm tired of the worlds selfish childish rants about everything being America's fault. I'm getting to the point where I think we should pull our troops from everywhere and let the world go to hell. We expect a lot of ourselves as Americans. Seems everyone has a better idea of how this disaster could/should be dealt with, beginning with a week ago Friday. 1st priority should be saving lives. Slightly further down the list are creature comforts like hot meals and plasma screen TVs.
The media and politicians especially like to pontificate about what could/should be done, this post noting a case in point. Meanwhile the little guys are out there busting ass to help people out of a deadly serious situation. There are some people in authority who are afraid to use it, and there is a population ready to despise it when used.
