From what is quickly becoming my favorite entertainment site (apart from the venerable Weekly World News), Zsa Zsa Huffington's hate-America blog. Enjoy the calm, clear race-baiting of Randall (Who?) Robinson:
It is reported that black hurricane victims in New Orleans have begun eating corpses to survive. Four days after the storm, thousands of blacks in New Orleans are dying like dogs. No-one has come to help them.
I am a sixty-four year old African-American.
New Orleans marks the end of the America I strove for.
I am hopeless. I am sad. I am angry against my country for doing nothing when it mattered.
This is what we have come to. This defining watershed moment in America’s racial history. For all the world to witness. For those who’ve been caused to listen for a lifetime to America’s ceaseless hollow bleats about democracy. For Christians, Jews and Muslims at home and abroad. For rich and poor. For African-American soldiers fighting in Iraq. For African-Americans inside the halls of officialdom and out.
My hand shakes with anger as I write. I, the formerly un-jaundiced human rights advocate, have finally come to see my country for what it really is. A monstrous fraud.But what can I do but write about how I feel. How millions, black like me, must feel at this, the lowest moment in my country’s story.

It's not just blacks, it's whitey, too. White people are just in the same dire straits as African Americans.
And BOTH races did not leave when they should have. Then the levies broke, which they never thought they would. People drowned because THEY DID NOT EVACUATE!!!
The day after the hurricane it did not appear that bad, but once those levies broke, it must have surprised the hell out of everyone down there.
Bridges and roads are out making it difficult, and the water is full of NASTY stuff. Didn't the mayor realize just how bad this hurricane was going to be? It was HUGE and destroyed a large area. How do they expect thousands of buses, food, water and supplies to be delivered *presto* like some friggin' magician to millions of people?
I refuse to believe that everybody that's been bitching and moaning on TV were all too poor to leave the city. I know the elderly and the people in the hospitals are in need, and I think they should have been helped first.
The LESSONS LEARNED from Hurricane Katrina should be interesting. I think we should just kiss New Orleans goodbye the next time they get hit with a hurricane.
They thought they would be lucky again. Doesn't anybody pay attention to weather down there???
