Randall Robinson: “Victims Have Begun Eating Corpses”

****MODERATOR NOTE*****
This Thread is UP because it is on DRUDGE and anything on DRUDGE will be posted on FR, however dubious it is. We have pulled it several times already and will pull and link others to this one.
***********************

From what is quickly becoming my favorite entertainment site (apart from the venerable Weekly World News), Zsa Zsa Huffington's hate-America blog. Enjoy the calm, clear race-baiting of Randall (Who?) Robinson:

Randall Robinson Randall Robinson

It is reported that black hurricane victims in New Orleans have begun eating corpses to survive. Four days after the storm, thousands of blacks in New Orleans are dying like dogs. No-one has come to help them.

I am a sixty-four year old African-American.

New Orleans marks the end of the America I strove for.

I am hopeless. I am sad. I am angry against my country for doing nothing when it mattered.

This is what we have come to. This defining watershed moment in America’s racial history. For all the world to witness. For those who’ve been caused to listen for a lifetime to America’s ceaseless hollow bleats about democracy. For Christians, Jews and Muslims at home and abroad. For rich and poor. For African-American soldiers fighting in Iraq. For African-Americans inside the halls of officialdom and out.

My hand shakes with anger as I write. I, the formerly un-jaundiced human rights advocate, have finally come to see my country for what it really is. A monstrous fraud.

But what can I do but write about how I feel. How millions, black like me, must feel at this, the lowest moment in my country’s story.

Randall Robinson is a social
justice advocate and author
whose works include The Debt –
What America Owes to Blacks

White meat or dark meat?

Seriously, this guy makes Huffington fave, Cindy Sheehan, seem almost well-balanced.

Well, Pat Buchanan and Joe Farrah also think that President Bush should be impeached too. Must be the new "in" thing for the utterly irrelevant and incompetent to say now.

This article makes a mockery out of the real suffering of many people in New Orleans. Turning the whole disaster into a racial matter is just so easy, so cheap.

We're better off if this artcle is deleted from Freerepublic ASAP.

What makes these people think conditions would be any different in a disaster of this scope in a predominantly white city? Especially one saddled with incompetent leadership and a governor who was just not with the program.

Or am I misreading their statement?

DO they really intend to say that given four days without food they will eat their dead, so it is the white people's fault for not getting the food there? (Mr. Whiteman, paging Richard Whiteman....you have a call on blame line 3)

I guess they can blame whomever they want to, but it is the actions of the people there which speaks loudest to their behaviour in this tragedy, and the ultimate choice of what to do resides with them.

Hell, I have gone a week without food, and I was not even eyeing roadkill or the neighbors pet....yet.

But, even deeper, I am really getting sick of this being made into a racial issue. Therein lies the greatest tragedy of all. As if no one BUT blacks have suffered, anywhere, from this storm.

Does anyone remember 1968? Are these folks bent on fomenting another series of riots like Cambridge, Detroit, Watts, etc.?

Does this fit in with the Marxist/Leftist antiwar redux package?

Are they trying to re-create the Nixon era and just siezeing on this event to touch off another phase?

Of all times when this country should be pulling together to help, there are those who insist on pulling it apart.

So, for the RACIST in the video, I have this to say:

If you think this kind of rhetoric is going to get non-Negro people to dig deeper and open their hearts and wallets, you are as full of sh!t as the water in the French Quarter.

You are not invoking "white guilt" with your rhetoric, but the ire of your countrymen, of all races.

STFU before you do more damage to the relief effort than Katrina did to New Orleans.

He said it himself:

"I am hopeless."

This whole trumped up race angle of Katrina is shaping up to be a major Rat card for 2006 and 2008. This will push them over the cliff. Moore's 2004 rantings will seem tame in comparison.

I disagree. I think these guys need to be exposed for what they are, for all the world to see, along with the asshat in the video from the Red Cross telethon who said "George Bush hates black people" and the looters and the thugs shooting at the rescuers. It's high time people got a good look at the fruits of the welfare state.

Here is another nut (From DU):

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Republicans kill Americans!

This is now a fact. If you support the Republican party you are guilty of genocide, the time for excuses is over. If you associate with Republicans you are inviting the devil into your life. If the United States is ever to be a beacon of freedom again the Republican party and everything it stands for must be rejected. Those that support this vile party must be seen as the Nazi's they are. This is a harsh rant, true, but when thousands of your fellow citizens are callously left to die one can no longer remain silent. It's time to decide are you an American or are you a fucking Republican?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I would say they are now out of the woodwork

Tell that to Dahmer? Dahmer's dead. And BTW, even when he was alive he wasn't a normal human being, was he?

Are left wing nuts normal human beings?

By normal human beings i am not referring to political persuasion. I probably should've been more clear on that. I mean people who don't normally eat other people.

Now, this is carrying multiculturalism too far. Accusing his buds of cannibalism is beyond polite discourse. Though, one wonders whether the repast would be rejected if not properly hot like the MRE the woman evacuee rejected because the troops didn't heat it up for her.

I don't even know why Drudge would give this any space on his website. Next, he'll be saying the people of N.O. were carried away by Aliens! (Bush's fault too, you know)

I agree too. This stuff has to be made public. When people are this irrational, it needs to be heard

Speaking of Jesse Jackson, I don't see him down there handing out food & water, or rowing a boat thru the streets!
