Total agreement:
They have done an outstanding job throughout the entire mess.

Small survivor : US Airforce Lt. Nathan Brosheal holds a kitten rescued and airlifted to New Orleans International Airport in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Hmm...Maybe it was Oprah? LOL!
NautiNurse, did you catch this from the mods?
Proof that any earlier visit by the President would have led with the headline "Early Bush Visit to Remove Cindy Causes Hundreds to Die".
Briefing:
A civilian helicopter came down. Both civilian crew members sustains cuts, scrapes, bruises but no sever injuries. No information on cause. It could have been mechanical failure. Accident happened around the Danziger Bridge area on the east bank at approximately 6:55 p.m.. No information that the helicopter was fired upon.
"I just now talked to someone in Canada (Nova Scotia) and they are taking up collections like we are to help the hurricane victims."
I can confirm this but it's happening all over Canada. People are giving to Salvation Army, and Red Cross primarily. My company is matching all donations to these two. I am going to give to them and to other Christian relief orgs like Samaritan's Purse. They have a much lower overhead and many volunteers.
THIS IS OUR MANTRA !!!
NAGIN LIED, PEOPLE DIED.
Blanco frowned, people drowned.
Kennedy Drank, people sank...
"Alright, obviously I have to type slower"
How can I possibly respond with a retort like that. Did you learn this in college?
"There is one highway into town"
"Why don't you pull up a map and see just how you get from Arkansas, Texas, Tennessee and South Carolina..."
Ummm - Let me go out on the limb here --
I'm going to guess that YOU TAKE THE ONE F'in HIGHWAY INTO TOWN???
What is your problem? You seem to have zero intolerance for CRITICISM OF BUREACRATIC BOONDOGGLES.
You don't work for the gubmint, do ya?
OK, was mistaken. Looked a lot like the rescue craft in Los Angeles in terms of paint scheme.
If it's a Puma, that would make sense, they look a lot like CH-53s.
thanks for the ping. Will do.
O Canada!
Down where the shooting happened earlier.
GOOD to see you TK!
Listen up kids- the chopper came down near the same bridge where the shootings occured...hmmm...
It's a civilian chopper too...not military.
KITTY!
Sorry looks like missed the tail. It's US Navy not United States of America written there. Looks like some VIP doesn't have his helo.
VH-3D (HC-2) Executive Transport
I hope they weren't dropping turkeys from that helocopter.
