Absolutely chilling. New Orleans is one of our favorite places to visit. Always stayed in the quarter and just loved to eat, walk and "people watch" during Thanksgiving week when the place was pretty mellow. I am so saddened and so d**n mad at the ineptness of the LA politicians. What a different story if someone like Rudy was in charge. Prayers for all the vicitms and thanks for posting this. Thank you for posting this. Your husband's suggestion about dispensing available drugs to those in need, was excellent. Any competent authorities would have jumped at that opportunity.

I, too, used to love the quirky city of New Orleans. That city is gone, and will probably never return.

I'm beginning to think this was done intentionally to hurt our President! HOW THE HELL does it take 4 miserable days to get FEMA and the emergency group in...I don't get it!
