Absolutely chilling. New Orleans is one of our favorite places to visit. Always stayed in the quarter and just loved to eat, walk and "people watch" during Thanksgiving week when the place was pretty mellow. I am so saddened and so d**n mad at the ineptness of the LA politicians. What a different story if someone like Rudy was in charge. Prayers for all the vicitms and thanks for posting this. We feel the same as you. We have always loved NO and go there once a year to eat, listen to the music, walk and enjoy the city (not to drink and get drunk). I am heart broken at the loss of this city but I am not surprised at any of this corruption and ineptitude. *sob*
