It is with heavy heart I write this...
I have finally reconnected with my best friend who is a paramedic who was sent from Georgia 2 days ago to Gulf Port, Mississippi before the hurricane hit.
He just reached me within the last 10 mins via emergency cell phone to tell me he was alive.
Thousands of bodies have been discovered throughout Mississippi in Gulf Port, Waveland,Hancock County,Bay of St.Louis.
They are hanging in trees and they are pulling them out 30 at a time. Entire families found drowned in their homes and washing up on shore.
The stories he could tell me were brief. National Guard is on the scene and arresting anyone seen on the streets.
The numbers are staggering and what I have been told tonight will shake people to their foundation as the numbers will be coming out in the next 24-hours of just how many people have actually perished in these and 3 other beach communities.

I remember watching a talking head show on a Sunday morning a few years back. The editor of a NY newspaper or magazine was a panel guest. The pompous a$$ stated that they regularly edit news because the American public couldn't handle the truth.

I have seen pictures of dead Iraqi Shiites who were victims of the stampede that occurred only today, all morning long. After all these days I have yet to see one picture of a dead victim of Katrina. Some type of suppression of this type of image by the MSM must be operative or we have many many incompetent tele journalists.
Have you LOOKED at pictures? There's debris everywhere.

listening to Glenn Beck...father has called in who has a dtr in lock up in jefferson parish (?)...she is afraid they might not make it out alive....looters have sniper weaponry and are fighting off any help arriving...protecting their jewelry store turf....glenn has him on hold now...I am so sad that our society is like this...there IS no excuse...none...If thugs keep help out...then perhaps..these thugs need to be eliminated. I do not know of any 24 hour news outlet that showed any dead bodies from the tsunami within the 24 hours. ANd you totally missed my point. I asked how many dead bodies could you see from the air in those two calamities, you said earlier that we should in this hurricane struck area.

Which channel...AFN is flipping between FNC and CNN and they have only verbally mentioned the death in IRaq...they have not been showing dead bodies.
