You expect them to go without eating or drinking for days or weeks? Ridiculous. Sorry we don't agree.

They couldn't BUY the food or drink if they wanted to. Stores are closed and there's NO cashiers.

For looting other kinds of items, they should be shot.

The fact that NO has become a cesspool, is irrelevant. Even in the nicest of cities, people would still need to eat and drink.

The five top catigorys of storms all hit on critical days of our forcing Israel to surrender. In fact, critical days are not missed. What are the odds of that?

Soup does not talk, statistics do. At least to people who do not try to have conversations with soup.

Got another clue for you, denial is not just a river in Egypt.

NO is not the nicest of citys, it is in fact the worst of citys, and the store owner might disagree with your opinion of what is ok to steal from him and what is not.

In all the pictures I see, 95% are not carrying food. I wonder where they are going to plug in those boomboxes and TV's. Bet they get pissed when they have to evacuate to eat and other theives steal the new TV from them.

Situational Ethics is another word for justifying the lack of Ethics. These people could just leave for shelters, my bet is they would not have to even skip dinner.

Are you willing to break into a store and destroy another mans lively hood because you had to skip a meal? Because that is what you are justifying. I bet the looting does more damage to the local economy than the storm in the end. Anybodys store that survived won't now. You are looking at 100% destruction. 25% storm related.

Some windows in most of the stores, were blown out by the storm, so few people had to break into those shops. If it were me, I would want to buy the food and drink. Being unable to do so, I would take it and pay them later, rather than go days or perhaps weeks without it.

Looters taking other items like TV's, DVD's and jewelry should be SHOT.

I never said NO is one of the nicest of cities. I agreed with you that it is a cesspool. I said even if this had happened in the nicest of cities, people would still need to eat and drink.

Be glad to!

Top ten natural disaster ranked by FEMA relief costs
1. North ridge Earthquake January 14, 1994 15.3 Billion dollars, On the same day Clinton and the President of Syria made a joint statement with this excerpt "Syria seeks a just and comprehensive Peace with Israel as a strategic choice that secures Arab rights, ends the Israeli occupation..." (Al -Assad) and "Accordingly we pledge today to work together in order to bring the negotiations... to a prompt and successful conclusion. ...especially the questions relating to withdrawals...

2.Hurricane Georges September 27-28 1998 Previously discussed. 2.55 billion dollars

3.Hurricane Andrew Previously discussed, 1.814 Billion

4. Hurricane Jeanne September 25-26 2004, George Bush gave a major foreign policy speech to the UN General Assembly on September 21 11am EDT. "Israel should impose a settlement freeze, dismantle unauthorized outposts, end the daily humiliation of the Palestinian people, and avoid any actions that prejudice final negotiations." At that time the Hurricane began a course change that went from east-northeast moving away from the US to to end up turning around and hammering Florida.

5. Hurricane Charley, August 13, 2004

On Monday August 9, State Department Spokesman Adam Ereli called on Israel to fulfill settlement commitments. The same day a tropical depression began to form int eh Caribbean sea, that depression developed into Hurricane Charley within 36 hours.

This was the FEMA top ten list, of it only Hurricane Hugo had no discernible Israeli Connection. 9 out of 10 of the top hurricanes! What are the statistics on that!!!

Top ten insured property losses, 9 out of 10 again

1 Terrorist attack September 11 2001 20.7 Billion
Bush and Crown Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia were completing work on Pushes Middle East plan On Sept 10. It was to be given to the UN General Assembly by Secretary of State Colin Powell on September 24.

In addition 3 out of 4 of the four largest tornado outbreaks (swarms) in US history coincided with Prez Bill Clinton or Bush or one of their top officials meetings on Israel's covenant land.

The worst was known as the "super tornado" May 3, 1999 when Arafat was scheduled to declare a Palestinian State with Jerusalem as the capital. (Thanks to our negotiations) It was the worst to ever hit the US in History.

Looking at it from the political side, one of the single most significant political events was the announcement that the Road Map was the plan not just of America but the quartet of Nations on May 1 2003 and it was delivered to Israel and the Arabs.

in May 1 to August 17 The nations represented in the ?Quartet experienced record-setting heat, drought, rains, floods, blackouts and related deaths. Damages were in the billions of dollars in the US and Billion of Euros in Europe. For example, the first ten days of May the United state got tyheost traumatic tornado outbreak in history. 412 tornado's in the Midwest. June and August was the hottest summers in 500 years in Europe. Thousands died. America baked with many cities breaking numerous daily and monthly records according to the NOAA National climatic Data Center. Average temperature over world land areas climbed to the highest levels ever recorded that may. Italy, Germany and Francie all reported crop failures, freak hailstorms wiped out the Bolinger harvest in France. The heat triggered the worst drought in 100 years.

In the US in the month of may there were 562 tornado's, far larger than previous records, Hail "like someone dropping volleyballs down" in Nebraska and double the usual rain levels in Washington. Far colder and wetter conditions than normal also prevailed in eastern and south eastern part of the US. 100 year rains for June in Wilmington, Delaware and New York City.

The more you look, the more our "crazy weather" the last few years does have a pattern, but what is crazy is that it is a POLITICAL one!

So if you are a statistics fan, you might like to get a copy of Eye to Eye by William Koenig.

New Orleans is in complete chaos. I'm getting razzed here at work from some lib. co-workers who know I'm a 2nd amendment supporter. They're freaking out over the looters breaking into walmart and arming themselves. If anybody has any good arguments and facts to help me out it would be appreciated.

9 out of 10 times five? Isn't that like having everyone in the room have the same birthday in five places?

I think that the large stretches of time that the "Mid-East" talks are stalled and nothing happening then is equally significant. To help bring it into focus. Israel has peace when it wins its wars, it is the "Peace talks" that focus on making Israel give concessions and land for peace deals that always brings wars.

We do not have the right to dictate terms to Israel on how to make peace with Islamics if we are in multiple wars with the same guys! If we were friends with Israel, we would bomb the Islamics waging terrorist attacks on them, not help the terrorists fight political battles with Israel.

The only land the Muslims have won from the Jews at this point is because of America fighting for them. Sad, isn't it?

Tiz interesting that the Storm appeared the day the last Jews were forced out of Gaza. A coincidence perhaps, but perfect timing none the less.

Excellent point, but it would make more sense if the storm had hit Washington DC. Don't think NO or Mississippi have much say over Middle-East policy.

"They're freaking out over the looters breaking into walmart and arming themselves."

The looters are criminals.

The cops are outnumbered, and apparently out gunned.

One would be wise NOT to rely on the police to protect one and ones family from these criminals.

There's your pro 2nd amendment argument signed, sealed and delivered to you in a nutshell.

I just saw a video of two NO cops looting! It was hilarious. They got busted big time!

I wonder if those guys have been ordered to shoot themselves if they catch themselves looting?

Well, I do believe God would have no problem taking FULL RESPONSIBILITY for this storm, but we mere mortals have to take responsibility for building cities below sea-level, and building cities that are right on the edge of the coast of the Gulf of Mexico.

I love the South, and all the good people down along the Gulf coast, but they all knew, full well, what happens down there during hurricane season. Shoot, the first time I ever visited New Orleans, Gulfport, and Mobile was right after hurricane Frederic (1979), and I was amazed after seeing all the destruction in the Mobile area that anyone would want to continue to live there... (poor old Mobile keeps on getting hit too! Seems like once a year now-a-days...)

If the government were smart, they'd make a one-mile exclusion zone from the Gulf coast inland, and allow nothing but shipyards and docks to be built near the coast. Certainly NOT any houses, hotels, condo's, etc.

I understand what you are saying, and I suspect you understand what I am saying. Lets leave it at that my friend. I do not think we can meet in the middle, but I know that if we meet, it will be over a cup of coffee and as friends.

Blessings!
