I think that the large stretches of time that the "Mid-East" talks are stalled and nothing happening then is equally significant. To help bring it into focus. Israel has peace when it wins its wars, it is the "Peace talks" that focus on making Israel give concessions and land for peace deals that always brings wars.
We do not have the right to dictate terms to Israel on how to make peace with Islamics if we are in multiple wars with the same guys! If we were friends with Israel, we would bomb the Islamics waging terrorist attacks on them, not help the terrorists fight political battles with Israel.
The only land the Muslims have won from the Jews at this point is because of America fighting for them. Sad, isn't it?

The existance of Israel and US support of them is one of the main reasons the US is being attacked. I am not saying this is right or wrong, simply the facts. If the US really wants peace, it should cut off support of Israel, but I digress...
