Congressman Curt Weldon (R - Pennsylvania) gave another exclusive interview to Dom Giordano this evening (Monday) and broke the news that he will be giving a speech on September 8th (next Monday) during which he will present yet another 'Able Danger' witness. This new witness will attest (and will swear under oath when called) that he was "ordered to destroy records" relating to the 'Able Danger' program.
This order to destroy the records occurred prior to 9-11-01. Weldon intimated that it happened during the Clinton Administration.
The witness, who Weldon did not name, says that he was ordered to destroy records and was threatened with jail if he failed to comply. Weldon said that he has the names of the people involved, including the person who gave the order, and HE WILL NAME THEM in his speech.
Congressman Weldon also said that his staff has met with Senator Arlen Specter's (R - Pennsylvania) staff regarding the upcoming Judiciary Committee hearings. Weldon wants to be sure that everybody is on the same page. Weldon also said that he will do whatever he has to do to make sure that ALL the facts come out and that the process "is not manipulated".
Curt Weldon is like a pit bull on a steak. He expressed disgust with the "incompetence" of the 9-11 Commission and said that the victims of the 9-11 terror attacks deserve answers. Weldon is determined to see that they get them.
Weldon did express confidence in Tim Roehmer and John Lehman and speculated that perhaps the poor job done by the Commission was the result of an incompetent staff. Weldon sounded amazed and disappointed that so much important information was either glossed over or swept under the rug by the Commission.
Weldon will give his September 8th speech either to the National Press Club or to a "9-11 families" group which has asked him to speak. He apparently hasn't nailed down the exact venue yet.
(For those unfamiliar with Dom Giordano, he is a very good conservative local talk show host here in the Philadelphia area, an area which includes Curt Weldon's district. Weldon comes on Dom's show often and, like this evening, sometimes breaks news.)
You won't get any argument from me on the fact that the entire Clintoon administration was corrupted by those actions. All I was saying is that I think folks who believe that ABLE DANGER was briefed to Sandy Burglar and/or Bill Clinton, and that AD explains what the Burglar was destroying, will be disappointed in that regard. I think these are parallel tracks of Clinton depravity and corruption, but I don't think any DOD lawyers, panicked over the findings of ABLE DANGER, needed to brief the WH. The lawyers knew their marching orders, and would destroy anything like the AD findings without question.
Anyway, as you say, it all goes back to the rot and corruption that set in from the beginning....
Not nearly enough people know a thing about this and that's gonna have to change or it doesn't matter what is found out.
Well, I knew long before Ann was out of diapers, that Joe McCarthy was a HERO, writ large, but yes, "TREASON" is quite a good book and one that everyone should be forced to read. :-)
Was the software developed to find Chinese/American political connection? Not likely in the Clinton era... So what was the purpose of the software? AlQaeda was hardly on the map at that point.
Clinton was much more worried about members of the VRWC than he was about members of AlQaeda. And he wasn't worried about the Chinese. What was the software created to find? Sounds odd.
Sorry, but your friends are idiots. People who do not listen to talk radio AND peruse the web, AND watch some cable TV news are simpletons. Rather than try to help them ... ridicule them. If they don't shape up tell them you really can't have such jerks in your life and walk away.
You're wrong, thankfully.
"but some have theorized that 911 was anticipated"
9/11 would have been the perfect excuse to impose martial law by clintonia, it was fatefully just a little late. Watch the NG special. The terrorists had some issues and from what I gather, the attack was delayed over a dispute or logistics.
Just another two cents
You've got a great memory and what you said is quite true. :-)
On that we do agree. My knowledge of "Magic Bullet Scottish Law Arlen" is too deep and long to be changed by a bit of apparent "good-doing".
To understand my opinion of Specter, read his own words and observe his manipulative tactics while taking depositions re his "Magic Bullet" coverup scheme.
Then you will comprehend why "Weldon also said that he will do whatever he has to do to make sure that ALL the facts come out and that the process "is not manipulated" -- immediately after referring to Specter.
That is the very, very LEAST of what Clintoon is guilty of, in relation to 9/11.
"Just to make a point...how old are you?"
What's your point?
Read her book and when you're done with that one, go on to read books by and about Whittaker Chambers.
My teeth are not in need of any dental treatments; unlike your brain. That lobotomy didn't go so well for you, did it, dear?
Just consider for a moment who's involved here. These guys are active duty (Shaffer and Philpott at least), and they are involved in intel, spec-ops, and the like. They're spook types all the way.
I don't think they would have hung their careers out there unless they knew what the big picture was. I think these guys are playing the DC establishment bigtime.
The bureaucrats are nervous. They don't know what the AD guys know. The pentagon spokesman got punked last week for opening his mouth too soon. He was discredited almost instantly. Now nobody wants to try it again.
They really seem to know what they're doing.
Chinagate ring a bell?
My friend, I say again, I lived through it: I was there. He started off with good intentions but, as with many politicians he started feeling invincible and smearing people without adequate evidence [much like the syncophants of our former Pres., Bill Clinton].
You will find most people have both good and bad qualities and it is never a good idea to accept someone's view totally.
Did anyone really expect President Clinton, who had Yasir Arafat at the White house more than any other foreign leader, to do anything about terrorism?
