"Tunica gambling does not move either."

My guess is "insurance", casino owners don't want the added EXPENSE to hire boat captain and crew and liability insurance for moving vessel.

What town?????

Any of them, I think. He said ALL the casinos built before this year are "on the water" - I live in Virginia so don't know this from observation.

"Listening and watching some live feed links, there's a guy in the SuperDome that says the roof has been compromised. It's leaking and people are heading towards the concourse level"

That is not good. Many were surmising this could happen to that type of dome roof on here last night. Time to send more prayers for those people.

It must be getting worse, they have lost Shep's signal from the French Quarter.

God have mercy...

Is that why folks weren't allowed to sleep on the field, worries about structural integrity?

It's because the field is below sea level, and might end up 20 feet under water.

The main reason we bought a generator after last year's storms...when I need coffee, I need it quickly from the percolator, no time to light up the Coleman and wait for a pot to brew, LOL.

Glad you have power!

Think I'll go pour myself another cup of coffee.

We are now being told that they were careful not to call the SuperDome a "shelter". They called it a "place of refuge" because they cannot gaurantee the integrity of the structure.
