Category 4 Hurricane Katrina is approaching landfall in Eastern Louisiana. At 4:00AM EDT the storm's center was about 90 miles south of New Orleans.

New Orleans has been run by thugs and thieves for the past hundred years. The current Mayor is a bit better than others in the past. The city has served none of its citizens well.

And it isn't a racial thing. New Orleans is just a city populated by poor people. Like alot of cities.

Just watch them try to morph the Cindy Sheehan southbound-heading caravan into an 'assistance to the hurricane victims' effort, and try to fuse both of the issues together at the grassroots (not that I want to give them any ideas here!) for more support and visibility.

Have another cup of coffee and engage a few more brain cells before you post again. New Orleans . . . like any major metro in the country is filled with people of all stripes. Europeans, Asians, Africans, Caribbean Islanders, South Americans . . . even some yankees.

Someone should tell you, the proportions of ethinicities is not the same in every major metro city. Have another cup and think about it.
