I'm surprised she didn't blame Bush because NO is below sea level.

Will do my best, but am not a typist. I am also upset right now...

The thing that is making me panicky is the potential for the wind to get under the roof and then lift more and more sections off. Then what happens to the walls, which are hanging off the roof.

As long as there isn't a progression of peeling, hopefully it will hold the walls up... I am not an engineer, but am married to a pretty smart architect, who feeds me info as he works. He also says that the engineers know much more than he does. He understands the principles, but they know the details behind the principals..

It was the regional hospital at Oxner, the glass in the atrium collapsed, said it was a tremendous piece, that's why they are on lockdown, all the glass in the lobby

I'd like to add emphasis to this:

I'd like to see everyone here keep in mind that others reading may have loved ones in the area and keep speculation to an absolute minimum.

About the only good news I can throw at people concerns the aftermath. I saw a report yesterday talking about how out of 11 area bridges, 10 have been hardened against flooding. Meaning even if they're submerged, they're designed not to wash away.

looks like Biloxi is the Bulls Eye. Ironic as it's the home base for the Hurricane Hunter squadron.
