Extremely dangerous Hurricane Katrina is bearing down on the North Central Gulf of Mexico and New Orleans metro area. Thousands of people did not evacuate New Orleans. Outer bands of Katrina are reaching the Louisiana coast.
Due to the size and intensity of this storm, all interests in the North Gulf of Mexico should be in their safe locations.

Please stop the fighting and hitting abuse constantly, or we will start handing out suspensions. We've asked you all several times today to knock it off. What is so hard about following the guidelines? And, make your point to the poster in question, don't run to the mods everytime your widdle feelings are hurt.
It's just you.
It was worth it.
That's freakin' nuts.......Not to join to be preachy, but I guess it's "Eat, drink, and be merry........"
Here's a clue for you: every thread on FR isn't a religion thread.
If you all would like to discuss God sending hurricanes, go to the Religion Forum and talk about it.
I don't think all 20 thousand will be in alcohol withdrawal. And all 20 thousand won't need medication.
True, but a number will need some sort of seditive, sleeping medication, or pain relief.
NHC Hunter: 122kts inbound; 907 mb center pressure. 30 mile wide eye. Now heading SE.
I use celery, bell peppers, onions & garlic up front in mine; here lately, I've been getting ham bones from Honey Baked Ham. You can get a bone for about $3.00 to $3.50; (they have enough meat on 'em to make a separate meal) I cut much of the meat off of the bone and use the bone in the beans. (the meat gets eaten separately...[g])
I think you could say that this is the most comfortable, healthy, happiest and most prosperous nation ever to have formed on this planet...
...Except for occasional crappy weather that has happened from time to time since time began.
Winds at 140 knots, projected to be 135knots in 12 hours, movement still at 335 of 360 (NNW), projected to turn due north. Little change in forecast path, just a wee bit to the east.

Bad news on the tides. High tide for Grand Isle La. is 6:21 am tomorrow morning.
In the last interview I saw with Bastardi he said the critical time for NO is 9 am to 3 pm Monday.
I guess you are having a hard time letting my postings go??
That's right this is the hurricane thread.
Latest pressure is 907 MB from hurricane hunter in storm..
907 mb.
That is low....
Eye about 30 miles in width
907 in the eye right now. - Fox news talking to the weather aircraft crew.
Hurricane Hunter on Geraldo reporting on the storm's stats now.
Keywords.... had a friend and who is a long time contributor.
Must be he's not a friend any longer. I wonder why?
It is funny but have you ever known a llama personally,,they really are quite adorable. And sensitive, they spit at the least insult to their dignity. And once they spit on you, it is over, they will never like you again. Louie is a very charismatic llama.
BTW, when you say stuff like that, you prove your agenda is to try to make yourself look better at the expense of others.
You look petty.
