Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.
I heard that too but my first reaction was that I doubt if many of the Cindybots even take showers. LOL.
The song was based on an actual incident that occurred aboard a southern bus bound for Miami. One of the passengers explained to the driver that he was just out of prison, having served three years for passing bad checks. In a letter to his wife, he had written that she didn't have to wait for him; but, if she was still interested, she could let him know by tying a yellow ribbon around the only oak tree in the city square. As the bus rolled down U.S. 17, nearing the man's hometown of White Oak, Georgia, the driver was asked to slow down so that all could see whether the ribbon was in place. To the man's tearful relief, it was. The driver pulled over and phoned the story in to the wire services, which spread it all over the country. Songwriters Irwin Levine and L. Russell Brown read it in the newspaper, then put together their million-selling ballad.
Things appear to be over. She still doesn't know if they are going to the Cindy camp or not.
2nd amendment mama will be giving further reports if Basil has them, as I have to leave now. See y'all later!
Fox just ran it right now at the bottom of screen

It's not 4:00 pm their yet.
How lucky he is! It's a great place to live, and is booming. I couldn't go to Crawford today because my daughter is beginning her freshman year at Southwestern University in Georgetown, and we had more stuff to move into the dorm. I'm looking forward to going down there as often as she'll tolerate it (hoping I'll be allowed to visit at least 3 times a semester, lol).
bttt
I like the rancher putting up the signs on his property.
They're all out in the Hampton's for the weekend ... this, after all, is August in New York ... don't ya know.
I don't know how to post in bold or colors. Can you also list this info regarding C-Span in bold and colors? Everyone contact them also, since they're so fond of showing protest against the president, just maybe we can get them to show some of today's events. I'm not sure how effective the telephone number is, because I called them last night and if I'm not mistaken, they said they were open for business Monday thru Friday. However, we can try.
Main Number: (202) 737-3220
To suggest an event they should cover and televise.

If we can't get attention to today's events any other way, call these numbers on Monday morning for Washington Journal. You may get cut off due to being off subject, so get your remarks in FAST before they cut you off. We have to learn to play like the democrats, if we want our message out.

Another update From FoxNews on right now.
I only watch Brit's show and Fox Newswatch (because I like watching Jim Pinkerton slap Neil Gabler around).
The rest of Fox is tabloid prole-feed AT BEST.

The guy in the photo with Moon Bat Cindy looks exactly like the guy who was arrested for posing with the sign lets roll.
