Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.
Can the DUmmies say "court order"? I know they can if they try hard enough. You could get one in a federal court in Texas, most of them anyway, in a heartbeat.

The liberals have utterly ignored the diverse cultural interpretations of what they are putting forth -- on live TV beamed ALL around the world.
Joan looks pretty good for a gal her age, IMHO. I'm sitting here knowing, exactly what those in countries who respect elderaly appearances are saying to each other.. when viewing "Joan". They are asking if its a shemale. Or worse, disrespecting their culture.
I wanted to offer a huge "Thank You!!" to everyone who worked on making this rally happen, to everyone who traveled to attend this rally, and to everyone who kept the pings going on this thread and posted photos and live reports.
This rally was a huge success, regardless of the fact that the media has mostly poo-pooed or flat-out ignored the size and sentiment of the speakers and attendees.
I haven't heard from any of the rally "officials" as to the final head count, but I'll just use the 3,000 number...
Every one of those 3,000 people has family, friends and co-workers who they are going to share their photos and stories with. And those people will know that the MSM is not reporting responsibly. And those people will pass photos and stories around to their friends, etc. The MSMedia bypass will continue to grow - and the MSM will be left behind.

Good points all! But our side looked SWELL! Didn't they? Great pictures of Middle Americans doing what they do best...being with each other and painting faces and waving the flag! Horses with flags, kids with flags, it was great! But the other side didn't have anything like that. Just a big fancy tent and some guy in a tinfoil hat at the barbeque they served up.
The silent majority was seen...and it was just the tip of the iceberg. We know there's many, many more out there that feel as we do. Not everyone can get to Crawford. I feel better after seeing todays pictures from the Freepers and over at LGF. Have a good night! :)
