Just talked to Basil on site in Crawford, Texas. Currently there are about 100 folks there helping to set up. They have not received word about the caravan arrival in Waco yet. JimRob is riding with the caravan. She thinks it might get to Crawford around 1:00 p.m.
Basil says the stage is set up, the sound system is excellent and they have hung the most beautiful banners overnighted by W04Man on the stage. A big thanks for the banners, they are much appreciated!
Someone arrived early and hung yellow ribbons everywhere.
They have an American flag that is about 50 feet by 40 feet. Children of military personnel serving in the Middle East have written notes to their parents on the stripes of this flag. A very touching thing to behold.
The HOT Chapter booth is being unloaded right now. The will sell buttons made by Angelwood to help off set costs.
Someone rented the Community Center for our use so there is access to AC. However, they also have 10 tents set up. And there is a Moonwalk for the kiddos.
To top everything else there is BBQ on the grill! Basil is the official taster and says it is great!
That is all the news I have at the moment. It is hard to get a cell phone connection to Crawford but when I hear more I will try to update everyone.

Good point plus also one wonders what the weekend viewing public is as well that they are trying to appeal to
Oh yes. The writing on the horse's ... well you know :), says "U Don't Speak for Me". Or something like that. We first saw them just east of the railroad tracks. It looked as if they had been over by the "peace house". If so, I hope they fed the horses well before hand. :)

The advertisers who support the Big Media are not aiming the commercials at you. They are selling their products to gullible liberals who will buy ocean front property in Arizona. The Big Liberal Media is also a profitable business who know who will buy their product and who will not.
You're right, the pro troops folks are amazing. After work, I got to the mid 600s of posts---stopped & called FOX & griped a little to a real tired young guy---put dinner in the oven & came back & fell asleep with my hand on the mouse......finally caught up to the pictures. This took real effort to be outdoors in Texas in August....
When I lived there, the heat was like a blast furnace. Bless them all.

I do understand the obsession with Aruba and the honeymoon cruise both incidents which smack of people doing things that they should not have been doing in the first place.
I feel sorry for Natalee's mother but her daughter should not have gone off with strangers in the first place

Good point I tend forget how vast the US is and in some cases places are as far from each other in flying time as they are from England.
