Missile Fired at U.S. Navy Ship in Jordan
AMMAN, Jordan (AP) -- Two missiles were fired early Friday from Jordan, one at a U.S. Navy ship docked in a Jordanian port and another at a nearby airport in neighboring Israel, officials said.
No casualties were reported in either attack.

Israeli police and witnesses said a Katyusha rocket fired from Jordan fell on the outskirts of the nearby airport of Israel's Red Sea resort of Eilat, but did not explode.
Rocket narrowly misses U.S. ship in Jordan port
AMMAN (Reuters) - Attackers fired a rocket near a U.S. military ship in Jordan's Aqaba port on Friday, but the missile missed the vessel and hit a nearby warehouse instead, U.S. military officials said.
"I can confirm that a rocket flew over the bow of USS Ashland and the rocket impacted in the roof of a warehouse. No sailors or marines were injured," said Commander Jeff Breslau of the U.S. Fifth Fleet.
Jordanian Interior Minister Awni Yarfas said the rocket caused little damage to the warehouse and no casualties.
"Security forces are investigating the source of the explosion. It was a very weak incident and there was no damage whatsoever," he told Reuters.
A shipping source confirmed to Reuters there had been no casualties.
"There was an explosion at warehouse number five in the main container terminal, which is used for general cargo vessels," the source said.
The main terminal is used for general cargo and visiting vessels, including two U.S. military ships docked there.
Jordan's Red Sea resort, once a sleepy port, has seen a surge in tourism and investment in recent years in part because it is seen as safe haven. It is also logistics hub for Iraq, used by the U.S. military and for moving commodities.
Yarfas said the blast did not disrupt activities in Aqaba.
"Life is normal in Aqaba and there is no panic. Investigations are taking place quietly," he said.

Rocket hits Eilat; blasts in Aqaba
Army says Katyusha rocket fired from neighboring Jordan landed near airport in southern town of Eilat; earlier, series of blasts reported at nearby Aqaba port in Jordan, where U.S. vessels are docked
By Ynet and Wire Services
A Katyusha rocket fired from nearby Jordan landed near the airport in the southern town of Eilat, but apparently did not explode, security officials say.
The rocket created a small crater in the road, about 15 meters (approximately 50 feet) from the airport fence, said a local police commander. A taxi driver, who passed on the road just as the rocket fell, was lightly injured. However, the rocket did not hit his car, witnesses said.
Earlier, a blast occurred at Jordans popular port of Aqaba on Friday but there were no initial reports of casualties or damage, Interior Minister Awni Yarfas said.
They (the authorities) heard a strong blast, its source is unknown and security forces are investigating the source of the explosion, Yarfas told Reuters.
