The Heart of Texas Chapter of FreeRepublic.com is holding a rally in Crawford, Texas today to show America's support for our troops, President Bush and the war on terrorists in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere around the world.
The rally will be held at noon at the Crawford Civic Center at 1000 4th Street.
Freepers are coming from near and far to join the H.O.T. Chapter in Crawford. If you live within four hours drive of Crawford, it's not too late to hit the road and get on down there.
Folks in attendance will be calling in to me, Brad's Gramma and Jeff Head with live updates from the scene. I am told that cellphone coverage in Crawford is spotty. However, it may have gotten better of late.
We'll see.
Hat's off to Basil, Doctor Raoul, The Sarce and 2ndAmendmentMama (and anyone else) who've been scrambling the past two days to make this happen. Good luck!
All of the estimates I have read about the folks at Camp Cindy (seeing as this is really all about Cindy, not Casey), have hovered around 50. Most accounts have just used the word "dozens," which leads me to believe that there's more along the line of a few dozen there than many dozen. Some of the generous reports put the number closer to 100.
It seems as if we've already about matched the number at Camp Cindy. Not too bad, considering it's the beginning of the day, and that the leftists have had to reach far and wide among all the unemployed moonbats in the nation to scrounge up a relative handful of protestors.
You guys make us proud!
Basil and Doctor Raoul are on site. The location is a gravel area about the size of a football field and-a-half. No shade :-(
They're grabbing a bite to eat before things get too busy.
Thanks, kristinn, for all you do, and the freeps you do/help.
For all the talk about hordes descending on Crawford, the lefties have averaged around 50 to 100 all week.
Do Good!
GOD BLESS YOU ALL! PLEASE KNOW ALL OF US ARE THERE WITH YOU IN SPIRIT.
IF YOU SEE "W", TELL HIM WE LOVE HIM.
DOC you are amazing. Good work traveling to Texas : )))
Surfer Guy, on Tony's show yesterday, reported 23.
Good luck and Godspeed!
This morning I heard the Professional Griever say that the President's motocade had passed them yesterday going "really fast" (implying the President was somehow cowardly, I guess) and asking what was he afraid of since we are "peace people." I just watched film of the motorcade passing Camp Cindy and they were not driving "really fast." This woman cannot tell the truth about anything.
Thanks.
Yes. Press releases went out to many of them.
I saw that on tv too - not even raising a dust cloud.

Fantastic! I'd be there if I weren't, well...........in Ohio. ;)
Wish we were still at Ft. Hood -- I would love to be there.
Bless you all!!
