August 10, 2005 -- WASHINGTON Military spies were forced to slap "stickies on the face of Mohamed Atta" and other 9/11 hijackers despite knowing where they were in the United States...

Ben Veniste and Gorelick nixed it
Ben Veniste and Gorelick were NOT on that 9-11 Committee just because they didn't have anything else to do during those months. No. Ben Veniste and Gorelick were put on the commission by Clinton to make sure the fingers didn't point to him. Just like Sandy Bergler went to the National Archives to retrieve and destroy specific, incriminating documents.
And the Bush admin is being derelict in doing nothing about these criminal, and possibly treasonous, actions.

One time I heard a story from Savage that they were going to stop Atta or other 911 terrorists (I think at an airport) perhaps here in Maine but the security officer was warned by another not to stop him or they would hear from the ACLU. Did you hear that story on Savage?
You have a link to that story?

"

What I can't figure is why the NY Slimes broke the story. In any event, sure makes the 9-11 Commission look like idiots or, in the case of the two you mentioned, cover up hacks (or worse)...

Good evening.
"Washington civilians have proved that few of them care. What if we took over."
That's just what every constitutional republic needs, a military/police take over.
Isn't that what those brilliant guys that set this country up came up the 2nd Amendment for, just in case the Generals and their puppet politicians decided they could do a better job.

Ben Veniste and Gorelick were put on the commission by Clinton to make sure the fingers didn't point to him. Can you refresh my memory on this? Why was Clinton able to put people on the 9-11 commission?
And I agree that there's something very odd about Bush in that he first protects Sandy Burglar after Burglar stole those documents from the National Archives, then doesn't pursue these activities.

I'm with you. However, there may be some strategery at play here Maybe you can help me with this.
What would that strategy be, and for what purpose?
To: MaineVoter2002
It is not as if we all did not already know that BS such as this has been going on in our government forever.

"What would that strategy be, and for what purpose?"Upon reflection, poor choice of words as I doubt the WH has anything to do with this. Weldon made it sound like there were some patriots that wanted the truth out and he's doing so. Thanks....

Yeh...Hillary has a couple of more openings left on her staff. I had Gorelick pegged for a Hillary legal advisor as she heads for a false Prez run....But I don't think that will happen NOW. Berger, Wilson and Clark will probably not be a part of her team either. Like, duh...
It's kind of ironic...all these kiss a** morons have ruined their careers for the Clintons. When will they catch on?
There won't be a "clean" person left in the Clinton playbook by the time she gets to a 2008 run.

The law doesn't say anything about visas. It specifies citizens and and foreigners with green cards, not visas. The lawyers knew this.

How in the world did Gorelick get on the 9/11 commission. I wondered about that at the time, and I'm wondering about it now.
Who put her on the commission? Someone must remember.

Weanie Pubbie compromise. Senate Majority Leader (and I am not sure whether the formation of the commission was under Lott or Frist) compromised with then Dem Leader Daschle to put equal numbers (Dem and Pubbie representation) on the commission -- for fair and balanced, of course.
Daschle got to choose half the commission. Supposition: who actually was the power behind the Dems? Clinton. Why did Clinton's former personal attorney (Ben Venista) end up on the commission? Why did Clinton's former Deputy Atty General also end up on the commission? [How thick do we need to draw the lines before we see the dots connecting?]

And I agree that there's no doubt about why Gorelick and Ben Venista ended up on the commission.
Next, I'd like to know why Gorelick and Burglar aren't in jail.
